You can still totally make tacos and just make a few substitutions to have them be healthier. :) Use ground turkey instead of ground beef, don't put cheese or sour cream on yours (or not a lot, at least...) and you can use the low-carb tortillas while your friends use regular ones. I had a low-sodium day today because the weigh-in is in the morning and I ended up having less than 800mg, but I looked it up and as far as I can tell a "low-sodium diet" means you're averaging 1500mg/day of sodium. As far as whether or not I've seen a difference with my sodium levels and weight loss.... I have no idea.…

I'm going to be staying home this weekend instead of spending it at my brother in-law's place because we drink SO much when we're together and by Saturday night my whole thought process is "I'll just do better tomorrow." This weekend the only date I have is with my dusty elliptical! :wink:

Rum is absolutely FULL of sugar. I had to cut that out a long time ago. I am also doing a low carb diet. I'm so happy to have found this group! I tried Atkin's a couple of times about 5 years ago, but never had too much to lose, so I would stop after about a month. But this time I am in this for the long term! Today's my first day back on it and I feel great. :)

This sounds just like the lunch I was going to make, but with a lettuce wrap! YUMMY! Thank you for the recipe for tzatziki sauce! I got greek yogurt from the store yesterday and realized when I got home I didn't even look for it (but got a handful of cucumbers while I was there! ;) ).
