I have the same lifestyle. I work 7-3:30 Then go straight to class 5-10 most nights and clinicals every other weekend. I am exhausted! It's extremely hard to balance everything out. I understand exactly how you feel. The key is packing healthy snacks throughout the day. It's easy to eat junk when you're constantly on the…

Actually, I think you're doing well. I'm no expert ,but I think most people recommend safely losing a pound a week. So, you're on track. Slow and steady wins the race.

I'm in the same boat; unbelievably stressed with school. I didn't think about what I ate and also avoided the scale for weeks. But then, I got the courage to step on the scale again and realized nothing changed. So first step, Conquer your fear. Get on the scale. It might not be as bad as you think! Then think of a game…

One of my friends had a first date with a guy she met online. He took her out to dinner then asked her if she wanted to take a walk in the park. All was going well until they got back to the car and he asked her if he could rub her feet. She thought it was awkward, but put her foot up. He then dipped his head down and…

You're totally not alone. I saw a picture of myself this weekend and almost teared. It's funny how after you lose some weight you eventually forget what you looked like, like that wasn't really you. I'm even too embarassed to put up a good before picture, but I think it's about time I start embracing my accomplishments.

I use it and really like it. When I first started to lose weight about a year ago and was totally out of shape I did week 1 for a few weeks until I felt confident moving forward and gradually progressed. They also show you how to modify moves so you're doing exercises at your level. I thought the workouts seemed easy- but…

I didn't go to the cleanest gym ever. I went into the locker room and walked out dragging a long strand of toilet paper with me, stuck on the bottom of my sneaker.

Today I packed a taco salad. Make lean ground turkey meat the same way you would beef. Top on a bed of lettuce with tomatoes and whatever else you want maybe onions or peppers. I put some mango peach salsa on top and a dab of fat free sourcream. I also make turkey stuffed peppers, baked eggplant topped with marinara and a…

just wanted to apologize if my post came off kind of preachy. It was just a terrible experience for me. I'm sure every body reacts differently to it, but I think it was the stimulants that made me so "speedy", jittery, headaches. Gosh i remember one night my boyfriend wanted to take me out to eat and I freaked out at him…

I tried it once when I was young and stupid. I knew it was unhealthy but decided to give it a go anyway. I felt OK for a few days but then it gave me terrible mood swings to the point where I'd cry and snap at my friends and family. I'm normally very easy going. I'd get all jittery and my hands would shake. Totally not…
