I added gradually. I'm a bit taller (like 2-3 inches) but I do just fine at 1,800-2,000. I know it's nerve wracking, however. I remember clearly. :)

Ooooh, 3 PM. The witching hour. This is my typical weekday: *wake up starving* Breakfast as close to 10 AM as I can push it. Lunch: 12:30-1 Snack: 3:00 Between 3 and 6 PM it's either, "I'm going to eat my arm off" or "meh, food...I could take it or leave it". :D

I did it for about a month and a half. My goal was to lose one pound per week. Stats: 5'8 SW: 150 GW 130 CW: 129 I just couldn't hack it after a while. I was tired, listless, and cranky. That plus training for a 5K made me an unhappy puppy. I tacked on another 100 calories or so and was much happier. It does work, just…

For me it was probably 95% CICO, 5% exercise. The benefits from exercise are amazing but I would never rely on it 100% unless I was training for an Ironman or something. :p

That's a tricky time for me too. What I do is have my afternoon snack around 4 PM. I make sure it's something high-ish in fat and protein. I leave work at 5 and usually arrive home by 5:30. If I'm having a hungry day I'll whip something up really fast. That's dinner (usually). Then sometimes I'll cook something for the…

Oh gosh, that's one of my favorite dishes. I haven't had it (*cry*) since starting MFP but I do know those gravy powder packets are pretty low in calories. Bisquick mix biscuits shouldn't be too bad either I'd imagine...

I did it! I ran a 5K without stopping. I'm so emotional - I never thought I'd have this body back and to know I can run three miles...I can't put how I'm feeling into words. :)

It took a minute and by minute I mean "a few months". I lost the weight and was immediately self conscious. Suddenly it seemed as if everyone was staring at me and I wanted to hide.
