Monday QOTD - If you could have a celebrity trainer or celebrity chef come and work with you for a month, Who would you pick and why? Oh, man. The only celebrity trainer I even know the name of is Jillian Michaels. is that sad?

QOTD Friday: Since it's Friday, a fun question: Who is your style icon? Who's look do you admire, and how do you emulate it? This can include a fitness role model, but doesn't have to I don't really have one. I like a wide range of different styles, but don't really have the money right now to do any serious clothes…

I'm the same way. One cheat day can turn into a cheat week :grumble:

Most of my family is overweight and/or obese, and seeing the problems they go through and how our main family events either involve eating or watching TV has made me want to lose weight. If I ever have kids, I want them and their cousins to have fun, active family traditions during the holidays rather than my family's…

Same here. I figure, if I plan a 'cheat day', it's just an excuse to get off track. A cheat day usually throws me off for at least a day or two afterward.

Wait wait wait. I sense a story here. Handcuffs in what sense, exactly? 0.o

A couple of years ago, I went out with a guy who seemed nice, so I agreed to a second date. We were just hanging out and chatting, and before I know it, he was telling me all about his history with S&M dungeons, etc. Needless to say, there were no more dates.
-
Really? That doesn't seem like that big a deal to me. At least you know he's practical and money-conscious.

This is definitely info I need too

Argh. My weekend was nuts, but I am down to 152

also try mambosprouts.com. They have free printable coupons for organic products. And maybe read this article on how to find healthy coupons: http://cheaphealthygood.blogspot.com/2008/05/eating-healthy-while-clipping-coupons.html
-
a lot of the time you can get printable coupons from offline if you join free memberships on the websites of companies that produce vegetarian, organic or other healthy foods, and they send you special offers through email as well. You might not want these cluttering up your regular email, which is why I would maybe make a…

Friday's QOTD: Well, I'm not a big coffee drinker, but I love pumpkin spiced lattes. Unfortunately, those can add up fast when you get them at Starbucks (both the calories and the money). BUT, there is a great recipe for them on skinnytaste.com, as well as a recipe for pumpkin butter that I have started gifting to people…

Those look great, but they're kind of expensive on their website. Is there somewhere to get them cheaper? I wonder if they could be homemade somehow...?

Thursday QOTD: Okay ladies, this ties in with Wednesday's QOTD. Most of us have foods we are not willing to give up or feel sad about having to give up. What have you found as a healthy replacement for your favorite unhealthy foods? Well, I haven't really found a healthy alternative for fries, but I make a healthier…
-
YES. Just had some fairly low cal blood orange sorbetto. So good :)

Wednesday's QOTD: What is the one unhealthy food that you could never and i mean never ever!!!!!! give up in a million years???? This is hard because most of my favorite foods are unhealthy, though that's starting to change  Definitely pizza and fries are at the top of the list, though, with pasta coming in a close…

If you do get a username, let me know! :D

Try this: Everytime you go to eat, before you allow yourself to eat ANYTHING - dinner, breakfast, snack- write down in a little book the time, the date, how you feel, and why you want to eat. Be honest with yourself. If you want food because you're bored or scared or nervous or tired, write that down. Sometimes, it won't…

I LOVE Big Bang Theory and Eureka. Have you ever seen Raising Hope? It's not science based, but the humor seems similar to me in a way.

Hi guys :) I'm Nikki. I'm a 22 year old college student (graduating this year, can I get a HECK YEAH?). I live in Greensboro, North Carolina. As well as taking a full courseload, I also have a job and an internship, so it's been difficult to also pursue weight loss, but with the addition of this challenge, I know I'm more…

This is an odd idea, but really cool. I may have to try this! :)

Or, if you're not the cooking type, you could make a pizzadilla - basically a tortilla with pizza sauce, cheese, and pizza toppings. Just heat it up and brown it a bit in a skillet and it's a fairly low cal pizza alternative without a lot of fuss.

Due to an impending visit from my friend TOM, being sick, and a weekend full of the saltiest foods ever (at least I hope that's all it is :grumble: ) I am actually UP 2 pounds. Weighed in at 155. I'm back on track with keeping my salt down and drinking plenty of water, though, so we'll see how it goes.
-
This sounds great :) We're having a bonfire on Friday and I just might have to try it!
-
this is all awesome advice. Thanks :)
-
Yeah, I guess I could have a talk with my mom. I've tried talking to my friend about it, though, and he's one of those people who just doesn't take that kind of thing seriously. So far he's blown off everything I've said about it.

I don't think your diary is open. I can't see it, anyways.
