I love my Under Armour bras, but I agree to go with a size smaller than usual and check the labels. Most of them will say what sort of Impact they are built for....always get HIGH if you plan on running....I don't even know what the low impacts are for...sleeping? I hate when my boobs bounce when I'm exercising!

Not sure if this will help, but I'm pregnant so I too try to avoid a lot of core focused exercises. As for weight -lifting, I might suggest anything that requires you to sit whether it be on the machines or with free weights sitting on a bench and maybe slightly lighter weights, it will take the focus more towards the…

i did it. I did not however follow the nutrition portion. i couldn't handle eating so much. The weightlifting part was amazing though! I lost inches while gaining a lot of strength.

I am on week 3 now. I haven't seen any loss on the scale, but I definitely feel better. I feel like I am getting much stronger and on certain days I can see certain muscles popping out. I'm also excited to be starting to get that v down my core again that makes my tummy look like just a tummy instead of a belly(in my mind…

Fun fact: my cat is gluten intolerant as well. evidently ear infections and allergies in cats most likely come from an intolerance of grains. Just a fun fact. Didn't mean to highjack your thread.

Have you ever seen soemone that is totally dead to the world when he/she first wakes up, like their body is moving but the mind isn't quite awake yet? Yep, that's me lol. So I can listen to any thing in the mornings until I wake up. However if you mean when I work out, I'm a classic "Gonna Fly Now", "Final Countdown", and…

I love that you posted this. You are super brave and it seems to have made a lot of us feel better that we aren't the only ones trying to work on these areas, at least it has for me. I always wondered if anyone else had "fat abs". My husband always tells me I have a two pack and I just sight and say nope it's just fat,…

bump. sounds amazing!

Thank you all so much. I have always supported my husband in everything he does. And it was never my intent to make him feel like he isn't supporting his family. I don't know, maybe it was the way he presented his idea for thsi temp freelancing job or the thought that popped in my head when he said it, I don't know, I just…

Some have been used before... 1.When I can barely drive 2. When my mind shuts off and my body just keeps on going 3. When my hubby has to help get me out of my clothes 4. When I can't lift my arms to wash my hair 5. Taking it back to BCT-when we "make it rain" (for non-military: imagine locked in a room with no open…

1x/wk Sunday, which is also my rest day, and after a no lifting day :)

Thank you so much everyone. Your responses have been invaluable and I greatly appreciate it. And thank you Duc78 for giving me a little insight to what he might be feeling right now. I never really thought of it that way. I guess because I am still enlisted that I can't really understand what it's like to be forced to move…

Thank you so much for your response. I will definitely keep these tips in mind. And as for the last part, that's gonna happen regardless. lol

Sounds like typical groin muscle soreness. Google groin stretches. One I use before and after running is to stand with legs good distance apart and bend one knee and lean to stretch between your thighs. Alternately if you have a bench stand beside it and place one foot on it, keeping your leg straight. I just did this one…

I thoroughly enjoy Tapout XT, especially the Muay Tai dvd. Also, I enjoy TaeBo-Billy Blanks style :) They make me smile...and sweat.

Ideally I would say the adjustable dumbbells are pretty awesome. They adjust from 5 -50 lbs, but they are rather expensive. If you do decide to go with the 10/15lb ones you will probably get more use out of them, but I would recommend the 5lbs over water bottles. For me, it all depends on the exercises I am doing. Starting…

truly inspirational! you look so great!

Stretch before and after a workout. Hold each stretch for at least 20 seconds. I have problems with my knees so I also foam roll to release the tightness in my thighs. Once the muscle loosens up it tends to relieve the pressure on my knees. Google myofascial release, i think is the technical name, for ideas about pressure…

The only reason I would say a rolling pin wouldn't work is because it would just roll with your body. You want some firm that you can use your body weight on the item to apply pressure to the pressure point, a baseball works just as well.

Are you getting enough sleep? Fatigue will really slow you down. Other than that I would try easing up a bit. Maybe only run every other day, like 3 times a week. It seems like your body might just be tired. Great job so far and keep up the good work!

I'd check out bodybuilding.com I've pulled a few workouts form there that I love. As for when in your weight loss goals you should start. Not sure, there are conflicting ideas on that here. But I personally see better weight loss results when I lift. Hope this helps and good luck.

do you drink enough water? Also, have your rest day the day before you weigh in. Weigh in at the same time/day each week if that is how often you weigh. Be patient
