  • If you check on the packet, it should give you calories and identify if it is 'as sold' which is the dry weight, or when cooked. Its usually as sold mostly.......I think, lol But yes, the 'portion size' as described on the packet is usually quite small, it was something which took me a while to get my head around, not to…

  • Cheese. Mature Cheddar, white stilton, cheshire, wensleydale, brie, goats, anything as long as it doesnt have blue bits in it. I am lucky that I live on my own so I dont have to have it in my fridge, but I find it hard if I go out and there is something with cheese on the menu.
  • Keep it as a treat for when you get to the 10lb mark, or stone mark, whichever. But if you dont think you could restrain yourself to just having a little bit, give it away to a family member or friend. Your husband will understand Im sure, sometimes we have no idea whats in these things until we do a little research. You…

I know its not intentional sabotage its just not something that they have had to deal with in their lives. Usually, once they get used to it and can see a weight…

  • Im booked in to go on Monday, but I have been suffering with IBS for the past 10 years, and I have been told by lots of people it helps that. But if it is just a temporary thing, I would go with the advise to up your fibre and water. New ways of eating take a while to get used to and your body needs time to adjust.
  • You got yourself the makings of a lovely fruit salad with your choice of fruits there, fling on a low fat topping of your choice and you have a great desert or breakfast. How do you cook your chicken? I like mine done in my george foreman, keeps it moist but crispy on the outside, you can even stick some veggies in the…
  • You have done great to take the first step and that is acknowledging that you want/need to make improvements. I agree with everyone on here by starting with just little things. Cut down your portion sizes, Im not saying halve them overnight, but cut down slowly, and you may not even notice you are doing so. Get yourself a…

  • Hi, I know how you feel, I have that problem too. Last night I found myself eating a muller rice after dinner that I didnt really want or need just so I could get up to somewhere near 1200 calories. I find that hard to swallow (excuse the pun  ) when Paul McKenna says to stop eating when you are full! Marie
