  • Just so you guys know, after I requested to join the group and got accepted, there was no notification, I was just able to access it when I checked back in under my groups.
  • Adding mine in. Had two kids so starting over on the weight loss. SW 156 CW 152 GW 125 Age: 35 Height: 5'2"
  • It's nice to see people posting on this board again. Since this group was started I had another baby, who is now 7 months old. I'm still working on getting back in shape. Been running about 3 miles 3-4 times a week, not very fast, probably 11m miles. I'll try to keep up with this board a bit better. Currently doing my own…
  • Just thought I'd check in. I'm due today and no baby. She's already much later than my first was. Been really busy with the construction on the house and moving everything around. At least we finally got everything finished and settled in. Maybe she's not being stubborn, just cooperative so we could get stuff done. Just…
  • Having lots of issues these past few days. Cramping and lots of pressure pushing down. I have no idea what this crazy child thinks she's doing to me. My entire digestive tract is out of whack. It's like my body wants to purge everything I eat as fast as it can. Been nauseated and throwing up a bit again. Lost a few pounds…
  • Brunette-Sounds like a nice plan to go visit. My doc's always bugging me about stopping every 60-90 minutes on long drives. To be honest I rarely do, but I'm usually a passenger and turned around half the drive tending to my 18 month old. Amanda-Hope you get to see your LO soon. I have serious issues with pregnant brain, I…
  • I'm officially made it into the third trimester, by all charts now I think. I'm 28 Weeks today. Going in tomorrow for my glucose test (yuck), and to get blood drawn to make my Rhogam shot. Then going into the lab at the hospital Saturday to get it injected. My DD was polite enough to have A- Blood like me, so I didn't get…
  • Thanks for the input. The pain has passed relatively quickly. I'd been having some other pain before that, so they think I was already passing it pretty well when I went in. It wasn't very big, not sure what size exactly. Just a random occurrence. I have no history of stones, and don't eat or drink much of the foods that…
  • So I finally called my doctor after nearly 24 hours of bad pain on my lower right side. Turns out I have a UTI and kidney stone. Fun fun stuff. Doctor put me on antibiotics three times a day and Tylenol 3, which I'm not completely comfortable taking. She said it's better to get the prescription filled than to wake up with…
  • It's a girl! Guess my daughter will be having a sister. I kinda knew it was, there are lots and lots of girls in our family. People keep acting like my husband should be disappointed it's not a boy this time, and that's totally not true. We're just excited to see her healthy. She's exactly the same size as my first…
  • DH=Dear Husband TTC=Trying To Concieve
  • About the dreams, I've always had strange ones. Being pregnant actually seems to temper mine a bit. I haven't had more than one dream about being killed since I got pregnant. I'm very thankful for that. So for the most part, the cramping has stopped. But I've been sick as a dog for a whole week now. My daughter seems to be…
  • @destiny-I hade very few eomtional problems with my first. But with this one I'm just plain crazy. My husband is completely baffled, since he was spoiled with how well my first went. I'm crying, I'm angry (I'm angry a lot actually). I just can't help it, and I feel completely insane. My little girl is sick (AGAIN?!), so…
  • How is everyone this morning? @Melissa-I hear you on the constipation. The doctor has had me on some sort of medicine I forget the name for. It seems to help only about 50% of the time. @jcgutierrez-Congrats on the girl. I have a feeling mine is a boy this time around, but who knows. @myiceisonfire-I have bad leg pain when…
  • Good Morning everyone. My LO is all better, although the doctor never could figure out what all the screaming was about. Shouldn't be in any pain like that with Roseola. Am I the only one who has no idea what to name this baby? I don't find out until April 6th if it's a boy or girl. My husband is probably getting annoyed…
  • Morning all, hope your babies are all behaving themselves. I've finally gained some weight, up about 3-4 pounds so far. How is is that I've only gained that much, but it feels like 15-20 already. I don't fit my pants anymore. Haven't had an ultrasound, and only heard one heartbeat at the 12 week appointment, but some days…
  • Name: Amber Hubby/Partner: Greg How many kids do you have: One girl 14 months old Due Date: August 22, 2012 Do you know the gender: Will find out after April 4 Have you picked out the baby's name: Not yet Where do you live: Ohio Workouts you are doing while pregnant: Running and Walking, when I don't want to puke my guts…
  • I'm due August 22, and I've had all day morning sickness since 3 days BEFORE I missed my period. Had lost a little weight, but I think I'm back up to where I started now, or pretty close. I gained 37 pounds or better on my last pregnancy, so I'm trying for the 20-25 pounds my doctor recommended this time. I'm really short,…
  • So, I can't participate in the challenge due to my apparent pregnancy, LOL. It has rendered me a completely incompetent runner practically overnight. I'm allowed to keep running, just not at the level I would like to. I'll still hang around and cheer on the rest of you though.
  • I did week 3 day 1 completely, and did week 3, days 2 & 3 at only 2/3rds of the workout due to illness. Not sure if I should do week 3 again, or move on to week 4.
  • I'm not in Kentucky, but I visit there a lot, sent you a note and a friend request
  • Something like that happened to me, 2-3 pounds up and stayed there about 3 weeks. Everyone told me it was sodium, or chocolate, or eating too much, or too little, even though nothing had changed. Then suddenly it all came back off, and I lost weight double time the next 3 weeks. I vote that our bodies are just nuts.
  • I did day one run on about 3 hours of sleep. I know, not the smartest idea, but I hadn't slept or run in two days, and I needed to do at least one of the two or I'd go crazy. Drug my sorry self most of the way, after my first 10 minutes running, but I didn't give up, finished it all. Not fast, just 5.2 running 4.0 walking…
  • I'm starting week 3 today, although it's not my best decision. I got about 3 hours of sleep last night. I usually run Monday, but hunting's gun season started this week, so my substitute baby wrangler is very busy this week and I have to squeeze in me time. Will let everyone know how it goes.
  • I did that mostly via treadmill. I used MFP's numbers for minutes running at a set speed, and walking at a set speed. Just be sure to pick a speed you can maintain. My treadmill and HRM always showed more calories burned than MFP shows, but I used the lower number.
  • Yep, even runners cross train and lift.
  • I love to run. But I have been struck by lightening, so maybe my brain is broken.
  • I see people who net significantly under 1000 calories every day, and its too bad people think they have to do that. Some days I feel like I'm the only one not starving myself to lose weight. I have an occasional low day, but I try not to.
  • My mother-in -law told me "You're really starting to pork out there aren't you". I was 7 months pregnant. Who calls a pregnant woman fat.
  • I think one of the most important things when you start running is to start slow. If your heart was pounding and you couldn't do the program, chances are you're starting too fast. A lot of people do. Speed comes later, after endurance.
