  • This is so silly, but whenever I go grocery shopping I always stop to "chat" with the treats. Like in the refrigerated aisle right in front of the milk there is a Krispy Kreme doughnut display. I also stop and tell the treats that I don't need them them and that they are just unhealthy. This isn't out loud, of course!…
  • Feel free to add me! I understand how hard it can be to spread your calories evenly throughout the day.
  • Feel free to add me, I'm down 12 pounds and have at least 23 more pounds to go! I'm an 18 year old female.
  • These were the first three weeks, which is why I didn't automatically attribute it to water weight. I think the first week I only lost two pounds? Maybe three, but I've been doing this for 19 and am continually dropping weight. Since Wednesday, I've lost 2.5 pounds.
  • Alright, thanks for all your suggestions! I'm going to eat 1400 on exercise days and about 1300 on non-exercise days to see what happens with that. If my body just wants to shed the weight, I'm totally happy with that :)
  • Alright thank you! My change was fairly drastic. I would eat a fairly similar breakfast and lunch but when I got home from school my meal would be something like this: -Bowl of ice cream -4 Oreos -Bag of chips And later on I would snack on chocolate chips dipped in peanut butter. So... I ate a lot, and I've really gotten…
  • I eat my breakfast at about 7:30 and have lunch at school, then I'm not home again until 4 so I'm in a similar situation. I'm not a vegetarian, but I'm sure some of these things can be altered. The first thing is to eat a really filling breakfast. I usually have 3 eggs (or 1 egg and 2 whites or 2 eggs and 1 white) or…
  • I, personally, really like egg whites by themselves. Usually for breakfast I'll fry three eggs and eat one with the runny yolk spread over the other two egg whites. I then feed the other two yolks to my dog so they don't go to waste. If I have hard-boiled eggs in the house, I'll make some oatmeal and then just have…
  • I'm 5'6" and my GW is 130, though it might go down if I'm not happy once I'm there. My current weight is 158.
  • The healthiest sandwich you can get (with meat on it) is this one: 6 Inch Turkey No Cheese Wheat Bread TONS OF VEGGIES (I put on green peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, and lettuce) And I ask them to pile on the mustard because the plain yellow stuff has 0/minimal calories and a ton of flavor
  • As of today, I weigh two pounds less than him. He is between 5 and 6 inches taller than me (so at 160 pounds he's pretty slender) but I hope by the time I'm at my goal (130) that we are of similar skinny-levels. I love him, but when I feel him struggle to lift me up, I wish that he would just wait until I'm small enough…
  • I would say don't worry about it. Unless you feel three pounds heavier, it is nearly impossible that you gained back three pounds of fat.
  • I weigh myself every Friday, but sometimes I get so impatient that I do it on Thursday. I know that if I have a cheat day or a day where I'll mess up, it's going to be on the weekend so I weigh myself after 5 days of good eating to try and cancel out whatever happened on the weekend.
  • My goal is set at 1410 and I try to get as close as possible to that. I eat over 1300 every single day, and I love food and am usually hungry so I have no problem getting up to 1410. I don't exercise much so I don't usually eat back the calories, but I don't burn more than 300 calories in one workout, anyway. Instead I…
  • The biggest thing I've learned so far (and I haven't been doing this for too long, but this is just my observation) is you have to look at every calorie and see how much it will fill you up. Things with a lot of protein, 60 calorie soups, and just dense items will do a lot better of a job. For example, I thought I was…
  • I'm 5'6" and about 158 pounds. I'm a seventeen year old female and I would love to be buddies :)
  • I have about 20 pounds to lose before I re-evaluate my goal and see if I want to drop any more weight. I'm not doing any special diet besides counting calories, but that makes me eat healthier because I want 150 calories worth of veggies and rice instead of a handful of M&M's. Feel free to add me :)
