Agreed, you cant mix different diets as they work on different principles. Stick with one diet and you will get results.

I have normally 2 cheat meals a week where I dont count and I dont count my vodka or bourbon and still lose at 1700 calories, but I do a lot of running and cycling, so works for me :-)

Try the couch to 5k to get started, I couldnt run and started with this now I love running, currently training for a half marathon, once you get bitten by the running bug you wont want to stop :-)

See, Im currently on 1370 a day Im strict all week then let it go a bit at the weekend, ie have a drink a few treats and can still lose weight. But I tried maintaining a bit back 1 week went fine, then the next week I had put 2lb on so back on the diet. Im thinking I need to allow myself 4lb under goal so I have that to…

Cheers. I enjoy the cardio. I don't find it too much. I do 10 mins on the bike and then about 35 minutes running. Im aiming to be able to run 5K. Will take your advise with upping my calories by 100 each week to see how I get on. really dont want to lose anymore though but deff dont want to gain anymore

Thanks for all the advise. 7.2 I thought was slow as when I walk on the treadmill I walk at 6.0. Will try to increase the duration first. :-)

I do Insanity and my HRM tells me Im burning around the 274 mark for 40 minutes of Pure Cardio. I am 140lb and 5ft 7. The more weight I have lost, the fitter I have got, the less calories I burn.
