I too have just upped my cals this last week. It took some doing, as I was just as "scared" as everyone else. Heres to some results though and getting my silly self off this endless plateau!!! x

Im 5' 11". At my heaviest (around 3 years ago) I was 191lbs and dropped, through Weightwatchers, to 157. Trouble was, as soon as I slacked off from that regime it crept back up, over a year or so, to 177!! After discovering MFP and the Gym, Ive hopefully got a grip on it now and am currently at 155. Im sort of happy at…

Aw big congrats! Its a good feeling isnt it? A much better buzz than chocolate ... ;-) x

I have to plan really. I shop on a tight budget, so planning helps both weight-wise and wallet-wise!! Deffinitely works for me tho on both counts x
-
Me too. I sympathise!! I love my new slimmer shape, but I hate the fact that my chest has literally shrunk away. Fried eggs ..... hate em now!!! :-(

What a lovely story, and such a victory!! Well done you .... and hanniejong, Im sure you will too! x
-
What an achievement! You look great, keep on going ... the hardest bit is getting started, getting your head "into it", I find. You obviously have so keep it up xx
-
Wow looking HOT!!! I agree about the running - it was the one thing I discovered that really does shed the weight. x
-
That is INCREDIBLE!! You look amazing, and wayyy younger!! Its knocked years off you as well as stones. Well done to you, you should be extremely proud. What a beautiful bride x

Hey, Im 5' 11". I started MFP at 179 and in a UK14 (having previously got up to 191 in recent years - uk 18). Im currently at 156 and in a UK size 12/M. Im happy at that weight to be honest, but would love to go just below 155 - just for the achievement!!! I havent seen anything below 11stones since I was very, very…

Excellent work!!! And what a great story to share. I fully understand the need for daily motivation. As far as Im concerned, once you get your "head round it" getting the weight off isnt the hard bit - its keeping it OFF thats tough. I struggle with that day by day. Well done you, though - especially on those extra walks…

You're all doing so well with your losses, and I understand your problems with large boobs. BUT ... Im so very jealous!!!! I always had large boobies, but ive noticed as my latest half stone shed - so did my chest. I absolutely hate, hate, hate it. Saggy and nasty. Embrace your lovely large chests - I wish I could get mine…

Yes!!! And whats a cup?? is it a big cup, is it a teeny cup. Im baffled too.

I always had cereal for breakfast. Lunch and onward was my downfall. Generally a mayo loaded sandwhich, crisps, can of pop and some biscuit/chocolate to finish. Dinner would generally be massive!!! Chips, chips, chips ... bread (w/butter), burgers, pizza, pasta, pasta, pasta. Im a real carbie and thats tough to curb!

Leeds here!! Welcome x
-
Me too!!! Not for quite as long, but have certainly been stuck within the same 2lbs since Christmas. Grr!
-
Yep me too. Mine goes up by at least 2lbs also, but then does go back down the week after. Its still disheartening though getting on the scales in that week and seeing an increase, even though I know what the cause is!

I agree with Maryjay. Having looked extensively (!) into which cereal I can have the most of, with the least cals the "brown" ones come out on top. I usually go for Weetabix or similar with skimmed milk. I too LOVE my morning cereal. Im an odd creature that wakes up hungry!! x

Me too. Please feel free to add! Im 5'11" from Leeds, UK and have always towered over everyone (or so it feels!!). x

What an amazing thread!! I love this!! Im 5'11" and have always been a bit unsure as to what I "should" weigh. Ive been right up and right down over the years. At the moment Im reasoanbly happy at 156 lbs. I am aiming to lose just a teeny bit more, but I dont want to look long and gangly. My boobies have shrunk and…

Im 5' 11". I dont model now (42 now so bit beyond that), however, I did when I was 16/17. I have to admit though, I was seriously thin. Looking back on pics of that time dont actually look that nice to me now. Im a UK size 12 now and I know if I got much less I would look like a string bean. I dont particularly want that.…
