  • Mizunos are always great, I like the WaveRunners.
  • You can do it, start with small changes and keep things realistic for yourself. Maybe just start with logging what you are eating, that will help you to recognize what everything is costing you in calories. Then start subbing in some lower calorie options where you can, and increasing water intake. If you are ever blessed…
  • Not sure it will help with calories but I've subbed avocado, veganaise, or even a little bit of olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Or just try a little bit of mayo and then add in a lot of mustard to get the consistency right. Another trick is to make sure you get the water packed tuna and just don't drain as much…
  • You can hide a lot in macaroni and cheese and also in rice. Anything noodle based usually works the best though if they are really picky. Depending on how old your kids are, you may be able to get them excited about a vegetable (new or old) by teaching them more about it first, like where/how it grows, what animals also…
  • I like mine just smashed with some lemon juice and lawry's seasoning salt.
  • I completely agree, I have my husband half on board so I need to talk him into being more of a support system I think.
  • Welcome back, new jobs are super stressful, hang in there! I'm feeling a bit frustrated with my lack of progress lately on the scale, but I'm still getting rid of some inches so I'm hoping that I'm gaining some muscle with my new 5+ daily mile walk (before my day would maybe be 1/5th of this amount of movement). So I'm…

  • Chooped up in salads, sliced or mixed in with soups (black been vegetable yum!), with some lemon/lime/seasoning for guacamole, in place of mayo on sandwiches, in place of mayo for tuna or chicken salad, mix in with some hummus, you can sub it into most recipes that call for oil (even desserts!).

  • Go and jokingly order the camel and rock badger stew loud enough for your uncle to hear. They won't care what you really order after that one.

  • Thanks all, requests have been sent. grvirgilio-great question about the other stats that make up your calories, like sugar, fat, etc, I think I first just tried to make the calorie goal and once I was good with that I moved on to look at what those calories are made of. Read up on macros as there are several different…
  • Like a previous poster said, contact the BBB, and also write a letter to the Department of Consumer and Affairs, and most importantly write to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). CFPB will actually make the place address the issue and research the data privacy breech thoroughly, while the others really only…
  • *hand raised* I love logging my food and seeing what it is I consume everyday to make better choices. I even do some prelogging to organize my day.

  • Hi there, I'm in northern Phoenix. I love my fitbit zip, really helps with tracking and kind of making it a fun challenge between me and my husband for who got more steps for the day. I joined a while ago, but like you just started kicking butt and knowing it will stick this time. Best of luck and feel free to add me.
  • Hi all, and welcome kimhub. I try and keep an eye on this board but admittedly don't post much. Like you I joined years ago but didn't really start taking it seriously until May of this year. I'm in the northern phoenix area, full time worker, married, mom of two little ones (11 mo/3yo). I have a long ways to go but feel…
  • Hi there, I'm 35 and have a 3yo son and an 11 mo old daughter. I started getting serious about weight loss and exercising when I hit 256lbs. You're right, they take so much energy and I just want to keep up at this point. I'm also trying out the c25k program. Feel free to add me. Thanks
