Why are people starting petty arguments on a post that is supposed to be about someone getting help?! Perfectly Thin: I myself am a bulimic in recovery. If you need any extra support, I'm here for you. Unfortunately, this may be something you'll have with you the rest of your life. But if you're determined, you can beat…

I have suffered from on and off depression since I was your age, especially when I was feeling discouraged about my weight. I am a recovering bulimic, because I used to eat my emotions and then panic at my calorie intake. My first suggestion would be to find someone to workout with. My fiancé and I workout everyday…

It's incredible. My fiancé and I started Beta on Sunday and I'm loving it even more than Alpha.

It doesn't hurt to stretch and loosen up. It's literally just the lateral raises that hurt. I do occasionally hear popping sounds when I loosen up beforehand, but it's not painful.

I always wore my hair short. If it touched my shoulders, it was WAY too long. I also always wore baggy clothes cause it was more comfortable. After 50lb, I started growing my hair out. When I hit 80lbs of loss, I started wearing tighter clothes and I never cut more than an inch off my hair anymore. Lol. Not much of a…

Everyone is going to have different calorie burn with this program. In addition, my calorie burn is different everyday depending on how hard I push, what I modify because of soreness, etc. Calories are important to me so I use a heart rate monitor. It tells me exactly how many calories I burned each time. Then I just…

I'm finishing up week 4 of Alpha this week. You will LOVE it. Good luck!!!

Wow. I have honestly never heard of this before. Is this a newer term or just not as often discussed as other LGBT terms? I personally always considered myself bisexual, but your description of your sexuality sounds very VERY familiar. Lol. But I don't like labels either and typically don't call myself anything. Especially…

I'm down 82lbs and sometimes I *still* don't notice it. Weight loss is gradual, so you won't suddenly feel completely different. Every 15lbs or so, if I'm feeling like I haven't made progress lately, I put on a shirt (the same shirt every time) and take a picture in the mirror. Then I put the new picture and an older one…

Romance novels. I own WAY too many. Lol

The picture was no more scandalous than a VS ad. Why on Earth does it need a NSFW tag? Also, she was talking about her boyfriend and how he watches porn, so if you didn't like the subject, you could have left the board.

You are an inspiration!! Thanks for sharing and congrats!!

I've lost 70lbs so far and I feel like most of it is in my boobs. I've gone down 3 dress sizes and 4 cup sizes! Lol. I'll always have large breasts though, and the downside of that plus weight loss is that they now reach to my belly button. A depressing thing when you're only 23. =/

I have lost almost 70lbs over the last year without ever exercising consistently. It would definitely be an asset, but when I was 245, I just didn't want to do it. Once I got down about 40lbs, I started exercising bits here and there, but I've never been good at keeping up with it. As long as you watch what/how much you're…

Manicures keep your nails and cuticles cleaned up so that they can grow healthy. It's like keeping your hair or grass trimmed. Did you go to a discount place? Many of those places use products and techniques that are illegal by state board regulation because it's cheaper and faster. Do it at home or pay a little extra to…

Oh, that's a great reward! I have a hard time justifying getting a pedicure because I'm a professional nail technician (why spend the money when I can do it myself??) so that would be a good one for me! Make my coworkers pamper me! Lol. I'm plateauing right now, right above the 70lb loss mark, so that'll be good motivation…

Mine's weird, but people who sing along with the radio. And not quiet, under your breath singing. That's fine with me. It's the "I can't carry a tune, but I'll belt at the top of my lungs and make everyone around me listen because I'm paying to be here and can do whatever I want." I work in a spa. We get a lot of these…

I usually use it as a meal replacement, so if you don't mind the extra calories, this is the recipe I use everyday. Pumpkin Protein Shake: 1/4 cup pumpkin puree 1 cup skim milk 1 scoop vanilla protein powder 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice 2 tablespoons Splenda Granular 1/4 cup Cool Whip (or NSA Vanilla yogurt) 1 cup ice…

Always listen to your body. If food doesn't sound good, don't worry about it. Being under cal a couple days because you're sick is no biggie. Feel better!
-
Yum! Trying this tomorrow! I have more ground turkey than I know what to do with!

Have you been doing strength training or lifting weights? You're toning up. Muscle is denser than fat. You won't see a change on the scale because you're building up muscle (or "gaining" muscle weight), but you're clothes will start to fit better because you are still burning fat and slimming down.
-
Oh, I love that! It's gunna HURT though! Lol. I'm scared to do anything on my ribs.

I have a tattoo I want that I refuse to get until I loose a little more weight. Definitely plays a role in my motivation. Lol. What are you getting??

You gotta figure out what fits your new shape. When I lost 50lbs, I grabbed all the same style things I wore before. Didn't flatter me at all! I had to try a lot of different things out before I learned what worked with my new body. Don't get discouraged!

I've lost 55lbs total. Never took a picture of me at 243, but here's my before and after: http://tinypic.com/r/33ff511/5

Anything less than 1200 calories a day is unhealthy, *especially* if you exercise regularly. I think they consider less than that crash dieting. SUPER unhealthy. You're body could go into starvation mode and you'll quit losing weight.

I can definitely relate. Weight loss takes over pretty much all my thoughts lately. I even had a small struggle with bulimia because of it. I couldn't eat *anything* without feeling guilty. I've more or less been able to kick that awful habit before it became a problem (although I still think about throwing up sometimes),…
