Shoulders, knees, and wrists. I figured that my weak little muscles would be sore, but I hadn't counted on joint issues. :(

I dislike level two and need to take some time off to let some things heal, so I think I will start over with level one and try to stay with the harder versions of things and maybe up my weights.

I like the whey stuff I get at Walmart. While I know that real protein is better, I'm a reformed vegetarian and can't stomach much meat. And yes, you can get protein from other foods like beans and legumes and nuts, but it is still difficult to hit my protein goals and not blow my calories out of the water. So the shake…

Day 2 Level 2. And I have a problem. One of my wrists can't support weight. During level one, I modified the push ups by doing them on my weights and taking the pressure off my wrist. Now in level 2 it seems every exercise has me in that position and right now, my wrist is KILLING me. Can anyone think of a way to modify…

Good question! I'd like to know too. Whey, soy, other (?) differences and benefits?

Size 6 and 4 at 132. Which I would really like to be again since that's what all my clothes are.

Level 2 day one today. Wish me luck.

I've been at 1200 for over three months. My weight has gone up since I started strength training, but the jiggly part seems to be the same or a bit less.

This. I'm not a vegetarian anymore, but I still struggle to get enough protein in my regular diet.

Day 8 take two today. I tried yesterday and had a shooting pain so I stopped. Hopefully today will go better. I'm on a roll and I don't want to stop! I will do this!

Day 5, Level 1. Today I took some advice and put my cardio after the 30DS. WOW. At first I thought I was going to fall off the treadmill, but then it kicked in. I'm hoping to slowly increase my cardio time after each shred.

Started on D3 today. I have a question for you all: I'm thinking of walking for 20 minutes before hand to warm myself up even more. I seem to die during session one and then get better during 2 and am fine during 3. What do you think? Will a little more warm up help? Also, what do you think about doing more stretching…

Friday morning, after the bathroom, before my cup of coffee, in my birthday suit. It always kills me when I go to the doctors adn they weight me after lunch, in my heavy boots when I need to pee. Adds 10 lbs right there.

Hi! I'm Erin from Virginia! I seem to have hit a plateau in my journey and think this would help. I've noticed that the weight is coming off my upper body well, but not budging on the bottom half. I am also seeing flabbiness on the upper half. I used to have toned and muscled arms and back and now they aren't. I want that…

Hopefully my dvd arrives tomorrow and I can join in all the fun. Late to the game, but better than never right?

Blueberries, apples, oranges and grapefruits. I also love cherries and grapes when in season. And I am a big fan of dried apricots and prunes.

I've used them both. I wouldn't use them in Italian dishes. I make Thai Noodle soup with them and stir fries and they work great. After trying them a few times, my hubby and I decided that we like the texture of the tofu shirataki noodles better. And since he won't touch tofu with a ten foot pole, that is saying something.

Cotton thong, sports bra, yoga pants and a tank. Unless I am hot, then the tank goes. I have a work out skirt with shorts/briefies built in and that I have to wear regular undies with, because I am a firm believer that you never wear ANY kind of skirt with out underwear!

There is a low carb cookbook out there (somewhere in my collection is a copy) that has some good recipes and tips. One of my favorites is substituting spaghetti squash instead of noodles.

From past experience, call the bar. They most likely have his debit card and pulled his keys if they thought he was unable to drive. Glad he's alive. And you are still in my prayers.

Been there. Prayers and strength to you.

I will knit a bolero in fingering weight.

Great thread. I learned that cleaning the bathroom is no substitute for real exercise. I've learned portion control. And I've learned that (surprise to me) I do not know everything and groups and boards are a wonderful learning venue.

I was raised in San Diego and was fine. I moved to Virginia and the first winter literally took my breath away. The doc said, "didn't you know you have asthma?" Um, no. Cold weather makes mine worse and can trigger attacks. The humid summers here aren't great either come to think of it.

I've never done steeks before. The thought scares the heck out of me, but I really like this vest and need to learn to A) follow a pattern B) grow out of my comfort zone. I still haven't tried entrelac either, but one thing at a time right?

Hello! I'm Erin and I live in Ashburn and work in Fairfax. Always looking for healthy restaurants and fun activities in the area. My life isn't busy, I'm just lazy, so extra motivation helps.

I'm 5'7" and a pinch, and my goal is between 125 and 130. I've been that before and it felt good on me. Healthy.
