I've gone back and forth between anorexia and binge eating disorder since I was 8. For the first time in 27 years, I'm finally in a healthy state of mind (most days). I feel you, and I'm so happy for you.

I use Herbalife, and when I really stick to it, I find that it works, but I don't have time to make fun or tasty shakes twice a day, so I tend to get bored with it. Though the shakes are pretty filling. Careful with the tea. There's a TON of caffiene in it which posed two problems for me: 1. I couldn't drink it after 2pm…

Don't eat bread! Eat protein: beef jerky, cottage cheese, string cheese...

Yeah. That's pretty much what I figured. It's just such a pain in the neck. Thanks for the info!

I'm a few pages away from finishing Born to Run. I'm also very, very slowly picking my way through Game of Thrones. I need something new to replace Born to Run...

I'm actually asking on behalf of my mom. She's lost 46 pounds of er 50 pound goal, and hitting that goal would mean the world to her. She's 60 years old and has worked so hard. She was really disappointed that she didn't hit her goal when she had hoped, and she blamed her evening snaking. I wasn't able to give her advice…

Did you realize that in every progress picture you're holding your head a little higher, and your smile gets a little bigger? Outstanding job. You look fantastic!

Protein! Cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, string cheese, eggs, lean meats, soy beans. Aim for a 100 calorie to 10 grams of protein ratio. Drink water. Sometimes thirst disguises itself as hunger. If nothing else, a belly full of water won't feel hungry. But of course, if you're cutting calories and portion size, expect to…

Whole Foods is great for samples. On the flip side of that coin, they completely sucked me into some impulse buys with that little technique of theirs. lol I have recently fallen in love with their Apricot Goat Cheese spread (if you don't like goat cheese - don't worry. You can't taste it). 70 calories for 2 tablespoons. I…

Knock, knock. Who's there? To. To who? To WHOM! Learn your grammar! The past, the present and the future walk into a bar....... it was tense. What do you call a dog with no legs? It doesn't matter. He's not going to come anyway.

Not that the dude deserved it, but the article said they had broken up a few days before, but that his NEW girlfriend broke up with him after the teeth were pulled. Boy sure does move interestingly fast.

A while back my (now ex) boyfriend and I came up with a system of assigning points to various exercises. For example, every mile you bike is 1 point, every mile you run is 10 points, and so on. The goal was to reach 500 points by the end of each month. Since he and I broke up in October, I had fallen off that wagon, but…

All of those questions are irrelevant. Your weight and height will both fluctuate throughout the day. Just weigh yourself on the same scale at the same time each day you step on. I weigh myself every Tuesday morning, as soon as I wake up.

I was SOOO nervous, too. But looking back, there was nothing to be nervous about. We had so much fun. Now I'm trying to justify doing the one in MN on Sept. 8 just to see what kind of time I can get if I actually put some effort into it.

English teacher. Imagine that.

Zombies have ALWAYS been big. You just haven't noticed, and due to that, you'll be in the first wave to be eaten. Sorry :(
-
Just do it. Even if you suck.

Anything by Oyster Bay, and if you live anywhere even remotely close to the Finger Lakes Wine Region, I HIGHLY recommend Billsboro Winery, Fox Run, and Anthony Road (in that order).
