Running, I have discovered is the fastest way for me personally to get in shape. I started running about 6 months ago and was doing about a 14-15 minutes mile. Yes, that would be running. I have now done a 5k in 37 minutes and an 8k in 58. I'm slow, yes, but I love running! And I plan to continue to do it when I get…

It may be that your body is adjusting a bit, but I would see somebody soon. Fitter women usually do have lighter and shorter periods, but they should not disappear completely. I would really go talk to an OB. Not to pry, but has this kind of thing ever happened to you? I come from a family with all kinds of female issues…

I frequent Starbucks often. I am usually doing this after a 3 mile run, so I have some extra calories. Honestly though, just say nonfat, no whip on just about anything you order. the whip alone is about 100 calories. I don't do the skinny drinks because I hate aspartame for flavor and health reasons. I order all kinds of…

my husband has been begging me for this!

I;m just going ahead and telling you that indian food is hhiiiiiigh in calories. I've made indian food many times and have spent time in the country. That said - it is your birthday, so don't freak out. Go with a small portion of rice, and go ahead and get the lamb. Usually indian restaurants also have a cucumber/tomoto…

that is so beautiful!

I would say continue. I had two miscarrages and when I finally got pregnant with our son, I was afraid to do anything. I gained way to much weight and had a difficult labor, partially due to the fact I was nervous to even walk more than a mile. The only thing I have really heard was to not do the crunches. And just so you…

I'm in the same boat! I gave birth to #1 at 174 pounds, and am now down to 126 after a lot of work and resisting the chocolate chip bag. Also did the c25k program as well and ran my first 5k a little over a month ago. I am really trying to get down to 118 before trying again. I'm quite petite so this should be doable. Good…

There is such a thing called internal fat - referring to the fat around your organs. This may be what you are losing, hopefully! If it is, be encouraged. That is the hardest fat to lose. My sister goes to a special weigh in that measures internal and external fat. So my info about it is from that.

eat some good whole grains, avacados, nuts, even peanut butter - these are higher in calories, but still in the good fats.

If you are looking to make it yourself, head over to skinnytaste.com. She has some fabulous curry recipes. I actually ate at a thai restaurant today. My whole meal was 350. I have a chicken borth soup and four pork dumplings with lemongrass tea. I was stuffed afterwards too! You can totally do this.

you really want to try jillian michaels 30 day shred. some parts are more stubborn than others for sure. I am down 45 pounds though from my pregnancy weight. It will happen, don't worry. Also if you are breast feeding it really helps. and make sure you are adding enough calories into your diet. There is a breastfeeding…

I'm in at 132! Would love to see more than ten gone, but I've been on a plateau forever.

I just want to say I know this is so freakin frustrating, esp. if you have been doing all the right things. I just got off my plateau after a few week! I was doing pretty well with eating and running at least three times a week. After weeks of this, I went kick boxing with a friend of mine, and it totally worked! I lost…

Hi dear! I am a new mom as well. Had my little guy last year (july 2011). First, this is what I do. If you are on a base of 1200 a day you will still lose weight with no exercise. Plan your meal ahead or there are some frozen options for work. The weight watchers variety is actuallu quite good. I know you want to exercise…

I would really do a lot of brown rice and chicken as bases. Beans are great and much cheaper if you get them dry. Pizzas can be cheap as well. powdered pizza dough that you just had water is 67 cents at walmart. - yout toppings just need to be healthy - lof fat cheese and stuff. I think the kids would love these.

skinnytaste.com has a egglant parm. recipe that is so so so good. I have made it twice now.

thank you!!!

one link: skinnytaste.com. Its all you will need. She has awesome chili recipes as well as healthier versions of taco dip, and she just put up something for the superbowl: bacon chicken bites. The best thing is many of her recipes are already in the database.

I have tried: green chicken enchiladas - unbelievable! chicken pot pie soup - ahh.... dark chocolate cranberry bark - brought it to all the Christmas parties and people loved it shrimp salad on cucumber slices - an awesome app. that everyone has loved as well. broccoli, potato, chedder soup - husband thought it was the…
