sorry i have been unable to post for quite some time. I hope everyone else made it through Turkey day. We had 23 people to consume a 24 pound turkey, a roast beef and a lasagna... did I mention my wife is a little Italian?

i could try it.

11/11 190 pounds SO I am down 3 pounds from last week, but up one pound from two weeks ago. No complaints though. My wife and I are heading out tonight for a nice dinner, but I have an extra bike ride schedule for Sunday, so I am not as worried about the increased calories. I do need to find a gym that has the NFL network.…

189.0!!!!!!!!! I guess that extra hour at the gym last night paid off. I had to step off and back on the scale this morning to make sure it was really true. I made sure both feet were on the scale and I was standing straight up. First time below 190 in what seems like forever, but in reality the whole spiral started in…

Bseball or football on the tv. Now that baseball is generally over and there will be no basketball to replace it I had better get all my treadmill work done on Sunday and Monday nights

I have a feeling that this will be another week of no loss. I run a tutoring business and go home to home. After the five week notices came out, I got slammed with calls. On days like today I am away from the house for 14 hours. It feels good in the wallet, but it forces me to grab quick/fast food. Tomorrow is another day…

5.16 miles on treadmill today. I have averaged over 5 miles per day over the last 5 times to the gym. Before last week I had never done more than 4.7 miles at any one time. This board has really helped to encourage me. I will post total miles tomorrow, but I wanted to thank everyone for the kind words

I have to admit the worst smell in the world comes from... My bowling shoes. My feet sweat when I bowl and the shoes literally crack after a few months. The dreaded odor is our teams secret weapon

Official weight for this week is again 191.5. No weight loss this week, but I am ok with it. I know there are weeks where we hit a wall. Since I started this weight loss in march, this is the third time where I had no loss. The other two periods lasted for two to three weeks each and required me to enhance my gym routine,…

I did 14.97 miles on the treadmill this week and 46 miles on stationary bike. Is there. Place on Mfp to track distance similary to tracking time and calories?

I don't think I am going to meet my weight goal for the week, but I am ok with it. I know I did quite a bit a the gym and kept m meals smaller than normal. See everyone here on friday with your new weight.

I have two treadmill routines and I alternate each day. On day 1 I choose level 14-15 hills course and start off warming up at 3.8 mph. At 10 minutes I go to 4.1 then increase by one tenth every ten minutes. When I hit 60 minutes I bump it up to 4.7 for the final 5 minute "cool down." On day 2 I choose a flat course. Again…

October 1. 195.5 October 7. 193.5 October 14. 191.5 I am surprised I lost those pounds this week. I added beer back into my diet and usually that is the killer. I keep watching this board and following everyone else's progress. That has really helped me. Thank you all. I hae not been below 190 since 1999, so that is my…

I just wear something to be comfortable. I know I am going to sweat and everything is going into the assh as soon as I get home anyway. Usually sweats and a short or long sleeve t. Sometimes my pants may have holes in them and sometimes the shirt may be so old and stained that you may wonder why i have not burned it yet.…

Today 19.40 miles on exercise bike and 4.62 miles on treadmill. It is going to be much harder to keep up at the gym now that there is more late night baseball and o more new York baseball at all

Dave I am interested inndoig the pan Ohio ride as well, but it may be the same weekend as the ALS tri state ride from Boston to new York. How are you training for it? Is most of your training in the gym or outdoors?

Sorry for this question since I know the answer is obvious. I can't figure out how to make a mileage ticket. My thought was to make two. One for walking/jogging and one for biking. Is it possible to make two? If not how can I make one? Thank you
-
sounds good to me too. but i will make my personal goal at 250 miles for the month. I walked 5+ miles on the treadmill today and this was my first day out this month, so I am a bit behind, but I will bike 45+ miles per week to make up for that. Anyone else want to raise me?

new weight 195.5. looking forward to all of our conversations

Count me in as well. I am coming down from a high of 231 in March. I am currently 198. My goal is to be down to 185 by Thanksgiving. I love that my local Planet Fitness has 24 hour access Mon midnight to Friday at 10pm. My long term goals also include completing a bike a thon for the 270 mile TRI State Trek (ALS research)…
