This is the first time I've stuck to this long enough to HAVE before/after photos. I'm nowhere near my goal but just sticking to weight loss has been a huge success so I hope it's ok to share... Down 58lbs since July 2020

It's a little one but I went for a walk with my son and Mum last night and didn't get winded or struggle with back pain - it's only been a little over a month since I started all this and this was really exciting.

Going to be 32 this weekend, single parent and cat-Mum. Working on portion control/kicking binge eating for now, restarting my journey for what feels like the zillionth time.

Sending a request, need to lose 140 lbs here and been struggling to get myself into a good routine. Friends with similar goals instead of skinny girls who want to lose 5 more lbs might work out better <3 (I love me my skinny girlfriends with their five lb goals, but they can't really relate to where I'm at in my journey)

I'm a little worried about your goal weight. I'm 5'8" and I look downright anorexic at 120lbs. Even 130-140 is still very thin on me. As noted above, it's an 18.2 BMI which is classified as underweight. Please set realistic goal weights for yourself and keep an eye on your health. All my love from a fellow tall girl.

Actually, I don't need heels... lol. I'm 5'8" so I get that extra long effect by existing ^.^

I love my protein smoothies for breakfast in my bullet blender - I do a half scoop of powder (full scoop makes them too gritty for my preferences) with a full blender cup of frozen fruit and 1% milk. The protein I use is a vegan protein by body logix. I had to find one without soy because of a history of depression that it…

I'm working on figuring this out as well - my supply isn't great right now, have been struggling to get it up to a point where baby is happy and doesn't need supplementing.

39 and 2 today, hopefully 5 or less days to go! Today is the first day I've convinced myself to get back on the app, enjoying a yummy breakfast smoothie right now to get started!

I love spin class, it's the first fitness class I've really enjoyed. It's hard work, but it feels soooo good.

Considering you're still on the low end of normal weight for your height, I think you'll be ok. If you want to maintain, make sure you track your food, use a food scale to get the most precise calories, and get your exercise in. I really don't think you need to lose any weight.
-
Because I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. I want to feel good again.

Losing weight isn't supposed to be easy or quick. The healthiest way to do it is to go sloooow. Aim for 1 lb a week, that's what my Doctor suggests. I agree with the above comment - focus on your food first. Don't worry about forcing yourself to exercise, focus on eating healthy, balanced meals. And don't look at diets.…

26, no kids, but several fur babies :)

I can't wait until I can wrap my favorite towel around me again - lately I've been using two just so my dog doesn't try to lick wet naked skin, since he's kind of nosy like that.

4 days late, but I finally started today. Just took my day one pics. Eeeew.
-
Just picked it up for 10 dollars at wal-mart, can't wait to get started tomorrow!
-
It sounds really silly compared to everyone elses, but I haven't had any pop in a week :)
-
How are you calculating it in the "exercise" listing? I'm really bad at figuring this all out lol.
-
Got off my *kitten* and walked the dog Also packed up all the boxed mashed potatoes and "sidekicks" that I'm addicted to, to donate to the food bank.

This is more for me, but these are some photos to put things into perspective I used to be a model - these shots were taken right before I quit because I thought I was too fat.

I find that at lunch a frozen meal is sometimes a lot easier - I have two cats, 2 snakes and a dog to deal with in the mornings and I rarely have time to pack for work. I really like some of the new Lean Cuisine meals, and I found that the weight watchers (smart ones in Canada) are really nice too.
-
Can definitely see the change, maybe more dramatically even than you would in a slimmer person. You can do it!
-
Also, I think that model on the magazine cover is ROCKING her heels. She looks great.
-
I LOVE high heels, but I'm not cursed with cankles, so maybe that's part of it.
-
Thanks for all the warm welcomes! I can't wait (no pun intended) to see that scale number go down. :drinker:

I've always heard that you shouldn't eat past 10pm, but I'm a terrible snacker. I'm working on that as part of my weight loss goals.
