So I can wear a dress like this for my wedding next year and not have to pick it from the plus size section of the store...

How about you guys?

    That's a really beautiful dress!

I had a goal, too. I started at just over 200 and paid for a vacation that involved a week in a bathing suit. Yeah, that was good motivation!

You'll be a lovely bride, no matter your size.

    Pretty dress. Very romantic. o:)

But to answer your question, I'm doing this (maintaining) because it looks and feels awesome. I love having lots of energy and feeling strong and confident. B)

Diggin that dress! Usually wedding dresses are too "foofy" for me. I like how it just simply drapes :)

Doing this to get my life back!

Just wanted to say: lovely dress!
And I did it (and am continuing to do it for maintenance) for my health -- didn't like my BP, cholesterol levels, and especially my pre-diabetic blood sugar. Mostly all back to normal, although occasionally some of the numbers in my lipid panels aren't terrific.

Hi, dress is beautiful but do keep in mind that models of wedding dresses often stand on boxes to get an extra-long effect for the dress. On your wedding day, you can make up for it by wearing killer high heels :)

Killer in the sense of what your feet will feel like by the end of the day? :)
Heels for the ceremony and pictures, flats for the reception, and hook up the train with the wrist loop (do all dresses with trains come with the wrist loops?).

    Why? Several reasons

I got tired of the way I looked and felt.
I hate looking at pictures and being the fat guy.
I want to be the fit guy.
    I miss being fit.
    I want to be healthy.
I want to be around for my grandkids and be able to be active and even play sports with them.
I want my beautiful, loving wife to look at me and think WOW.
I want to be able to go to a pool or lake and not be ashamed to take my shirt off.
Heck, I want to be the grandpa with a six pack.
I am tired of making excuses and I am taking my life back.

Tired of the chub. Want to fit back into my old cute clothes. Want to like pictures of myself again. Want to look like I actually belong in the gym. Family vacation to Hawaii coming up, would be nice to feel comfortable in a bathing suit.

To have a better quality of life, be healthier, fit my every day clothes better.
Maybe the lovely wedding dress I wore almost 17 years ago will be a bit too big someday. That would be interesting.

Actually, I don't need heels... lol. I'm 5'8" so I get that extra long effect by existing ^.^
