I really enjoy Kashi Go Lean Honey almond flax with 1 cup of skim milk. It seems to keep me full all the way thru lunch. Sometimes I will have a protein bar with a huge glass of water. Or vanilla greek yogurt with a little granola and fresh fruit mixed in.

Meat loaf- put in what ever condiments you have in the fridge (ketchup, mustard, worchesire sauce, salt/pepper) one egg, bread crumbs or crackers or a slice of bread. It's easy, not a lot of ingredients and good source of protein~

FYI. the weight that was recorded on the data base spread sheet is incorrect for my starting week

Fajitas are generally ok, load up with the veggies- try and hold back on the higher calorie things and limit them (tortilla shell, sour cream, excess cheese). I LOOOOOVE Mexican food
-
Yeah I watched it too. I saw the previews for it and thought "that is too spooky for me". But it was actually good and not spooky at all

I specifically bought candy to hand out that had lower calories, that way I don't feel so guilty about eating a piece or two!

I do have a cheat day, only one day a week (usually a weekend day). It has been good for me, it keeps me sane! I have still successfully lost 10 pounds in 1 month. I don't think a little "cheat day" once in awhile does any harm.

About 8 years ago I was diagnosed with Graves disease. After much contemplation my doctor and I decided it was best for me to have a thyroid ablation. It took a long time to find the right dose (last does change was 4 years ago). Of couse it's been easy to put on the weight, and taking it off has been a bit harder. However…

I love to use spagetti squash instead of noodles when making spagetti. My husband and kids love it too!

I always go for the tall skinny vanilla latte or if I want something cold I do the light mocha frappachino

Hi from Crystal MN

I really like the "Special K Multi grain baked crackers' and then I use Weight Watchers spreadable swiss cheese on them. Also enjoy Light and fit yogurt with a table spoon of granola in it. Nuts are always good (almonds, pistachios).

Thanks everyone!

I pop in the earphones and start chugging away. Sometimes I think about that treat I allowed myself earlier, and how much easier it is to put in calories than take out. Sometimes I think about how much I hate the d*mn machine!
-
I think treating yourself every once and awhile is just fine.

I made spagetti the other night sing spagetti squash instead of noodles and it was so good! My husband and children even scarfed it down. IT's my new fav!

I LOVE Coke! Especially out of the fountain. Don't know why but I think it tastes better. I have a soda addiction. but instead of drinking regular Coke, I have been drinking Coke Zero. And that seems to satisfy my cravings.

Yummm Pizza. I would say pizza and some ice cream!

I'm in the same boat with ya! I have a 4 year old and 18 month old. I never lost all the weight from the first one and then came the second one. I've been on the site for one week and already lost 5 lbs so it is possible even in our hectic schedules! I've noticed that even within this week, my diet change has positively…
-
I won't eat after 8pm, which is usually 2 hours prior to going to bed.

Minnesotan right here! I live in Crystal MN right in the metro area. I am fairly new to the site (1 week old). Would love some local support!

I feel the same way. If I have a bad day, I feel like I have blown the whole thing and I should just give up. Well I am glad I am not alone! I have to remember that everyday is fresh and new. Just keep doing what your doing! and don't give up
