What is the p90x/insanity hybrid anyway? Is it a program you can download and follow?

I've trained 2 puppies (at different times).. a lab and border collie. I used a crate, started off in my bedroom at night, so they are near you.. they'll whine. Then after a week moved them down the hall and eventually into the mudroom (big entrance) As soon as they come out of the crate you take them to pee ( I used a…

I suggest visiting your doctor before doing anything! Find out what the problem is.. get an MRI (I'm from Canada, healthcare is free here, so not sure if that's something you can do easily). I ruptured 2 discs in my lower back and had to have surgery.. so take it from me, be careful! And it sucks you have to stop…

Starting Week 2 today! I love it however, I'm a little nervous every time I hit the 'play' button... but with Shaun T yelling at me, I push through to the end! LOL

I've done both.. 30 Day Shred follows a specific plan.. maybe just do Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism for now.. it's 45 min... and it's a good workout.. you'll be sore... but it's worth it. :) Good Luck!

Oh really? I have a herniated disc in my back.. hmm.. something I guess I will have to consider.. thanks for the heads up.

I'm starting Insanity today! I've been working out 5 times a week doing Ripped and some P90X (strength) Zumba and Six Week Six Pack Abs.. ( as you can see I get bored and like to mix it up ) However for the past 2 months nothing is happening with my body.. I did loose 10 lbs in Nov - Dec and inches (which really its all…

I'm Nazarene and I'm giving up FACEBOOK. Yikes! I'm so addicted. But I'm going to use the time I wasted on facebook for family, exercising and studying.. :) Maybe after the 40 days I won't feel it necessary to waste so much time on it. ;) Good Luck everyone!

How is she being SMUG? If you go back to her original post, she is just stating facts, items she's never eaten before.. Let's just congratulate her for her success and move on.

I had surgery on ruptured discs between L4/L5 and L5/S1. I did Jh 30 Day Shred. I've done JH's Ripped in 30 ( which is more intense than 30 day shred) and I've done P90X. You do have to be careful when doing any exercises, make sure you are supporting your lower back, by posture. ( I use a mirror, especially when it comes…

Just keep trying again and again.. you only fail when you quit trying! :)

Try getting a friend to come over and work out with you. That helps keep me motivated. If I'm slacking she'll give me a kick in the butt and vice versa. :) Even if you just touch base with someone once a week, it will keep you honest and accountable. Set goals and let your friend in on them. That's my advice.. hope it…

Thanks! That's awesome!

HI, I have been having the exact same problem! I did go to the website you mentioned at freedieting.com and not only did it tell me to consume more calories, it mentioned zig-zaging.. same amount of calories per week, but changing it up daily.. so I am going to try that. :) Thanks for the website info!

I'm a 39 year old woman and I am finding it really hard to loose this last 15lbs. I started p90x 3 weeks ago and I love the workouts.. I feel so energized! I disagree about the cardio comment, there is plenty if you push yourself! Sadly, I haven't noticed a difference on the scale and that is depressing.. however, I did…

It is a great site.. I'm only 3 days in and I can't believe what a difference a food diary makes! Makes me aware of exactly what I"m putting in my body.. and keeps me honest about my snacking.. I can't wait to start seeing results, because I know they have to come! Hope it helps you as well...
