how can I get myself to stick at working out at home? and my diet too...... I seem to be fine for 3 weeks then really lose interest and give up, everytime this happens. even though I am getting results in regards to inches. I just cant seem to get past 3 weeks :(

I feel like I need someone kicking me up the *kitten* everyday or i will just not bother, I hate having a fat tummy, I want it flat! that is the only thing i really want to change. I just haven't got any staying power... HELP!

Hi Try not to do loads and loads at first. for a flat tum do some ab work as soon as you get out of bed. Sit ups, crunches, leg rolls and leg raises. They will all help flatten your tum and they dont take too long to do. You could give Jillian Micheals 30DS a go its just 20mins of your time and is a great workout,

    Stick at it hun x
  • Try getting a friend to come over and work out with you. That helps keep me motivated. If I'm slacking she'll give me a kick in the butt and vice versa. :) Even if you just touch base with someone once a week, it will keep you honest and accountable. Set goals and let your friend in on them. That's my advice.. hope it helps. P.S I work out from home too and I know it gets boring, this is were variety can help. I have a bunch of different types on workouts on DVD to follow. Good luck!!
  • Do you want to lose the weight or not? This is a life style change, if you do not change your eating habits, you will GAIN the weight back.

I have only set my exercise to 3x week and that is only 30 minutes maximum. Because........everyday exercise will not get done for me. The weight loss will be slower, which is good because this is a life style change for me.

I've done 3 weeks of 30 day shred 3 times lol I had 4 days left to finish at one point and just gave it up for no reason at all.

I do wanna lose the fat (not the weight really) I just can't stay motivated :S

getting married in 2013 that should be motivation enough for me, but alas it doesn't seem to be.
  • Just keep trying again and again.. you only fail when you quit trying! :)
