What they're talking about isn't even fat. It's skin and muscle stretched beyond the point that can be naturally healed by the body. It does not go away via diet and exercise, it's damaged tissue.
-
Of course it's processed. Does that mean you're going to keel over if you eat it? No.
-
I'm pretty sure he'll be concerned about your orifices, not your stomach.
-
Unless he's sitting there stuffing it in your mouth, no. You CAN refuse to eat the chocolate if it's in the house, you just choose not to. Learn to be ok with eating a reasonable amount then putting the rest away.
-
I wasn't aware being married gave you the ability to choose what your husband can or cannot eat.
-
The only thing that would worry me is being so hungry later that you overeat without meaning to. Other than that I don't think it really matters.

If "only" losing one pound makes you think you're doing something wrong, you're going to have a hard road ahead of you. Obviously that pound took a ton of work and you should be proud of it, especially considering you lost 8 your first week. Sometimes people see a gain the second week if they lose such a large number the…

Eat more nutrient dense foods if you need to.. avocado, full fat cheese, stuff like that. It's not hard to get enough calories if you're eating higher calorie foods.
-
You can do any activity you want to do. It's about burning calories, so find something you enjoy doing that gets your heart rate up. As far as strength training, there are a lot of different resources out there. A lot of women use the book New Rules of Weight Lifting for Women.
-
Isn't Zumba cardio, not strength training? You're not going to gain any significant amount of muscle in 3 weeks.. that takes several months, especially as a woman. 4 pounds in 3 weeks is over a pound a week, isn't that better than gaining a pound a week? You sound like you're doing fine to me, this isn't a fast process.

At that weight I'd make him ask a doctor and offer a beginner program as well. From what I've heard, P90X is rough and not for people who aren't at least moderately physically fit already.
-
Eat them all at once, really quickly. Count stuffing your face with cupcakes as exercise, and it will burn off all those calories.
-
This. I don't see the need to try anything else.
-
She should've never asked people that weren't at a perfect weight if she intends on doing this. I think that's absurd.
-
White stretch marks are that color because of the length of time you've had them.. not because you're losing weight. Like any other scar, they fade over time.
-
What are you in some sort of hurry for? You should be hitting your net target every day, and not eating those back does not achieve that.
-
You may as well become comfortable with the occasional gain, you're not going to lose every single week.
-
Your body doesn't shut off and stop burning calories after 7..
-
How do you ever expect to succeed long term at this if you flip your *kitten* this badly over one bad week? Track it and move on, honestly.
-
You'll find a bunch of threads about these, just search the boards.
-
Well you can't pick and choose where fat comes off so don't get discouraged if that's not where you lose it.
-
Of course they can tip the scales the wrong way if you eat too much of them. Eating in excess is what causes weight gain. If you eat a reasonable amount of them, you'll be fine, just like anything else.
-
Placement definitely makes a difference.. anywhere that can change drastically with weight gain/loss may compromise the tattoo.
-
Of course it will help you lose faster. Until you realize you hate life because you're making yourself miserable by starving yourself, and gain every single pound back very quickly. Why not just do it the right way?
-
Why would you even want to eat that little if you can eat more and still lose? I don't get it.
-
I would think you should listen to your doctor.
-
You probably would've got a lot of responses if you worded it that way originally.
-
Uh.. yeah. A thigh gap isn't a fitness goal. It's only achievable if you have a very specific body structure, which is not something that magically appears with weight loss. Most people will never have one no matter how thin they get.
-
Could you be pregnant?
-
Really? I think you need to learn to live with occasional gains from poor eating because it's likely a lot of water retention that will come off fairly quickly. No need to overreact so badly.
