  • I agree on the sleep deprivation! I just started the 6-month long "Transformer" DietBet to help incentive me. Anyone else signed up for that?
  • Kdcosc, we have similar stats - I was 145 and gained 48 pounds during my pregnancy! I've lost just over 20 pounds so far, and my goal is to be back to my original weight by my baby girl's birthday in July. :) I wanted to get to 6 months breastfeeding before I started worrying about weight loss, so just getting back into…
  • Hello! I am also 6 months postpartum and still at about the same weight I left the hospital. I had a goal to make it 6 months exclusively breastfeeding, and put other concerns, like weight loss, on the backburner. Breastfeeding is hard work! But it certainly hasn't resulted in any weight loss for me - and I've had to keep…

  • Three cheers for peanut butter! When I have hiccups, I eat a big ol' spoonful of PB -- HICCUPS INSTANTLY CURED! Works everytime. Solves many of my food cravings, so even though it's got a lot of calories, in the long run I'm avoiding junk food and feeling satisfied. I get the natural sort to avoid soy (a migraine trigger…
  • I've "finished" a couple of DietBets now, but I have yet to "win" one. Even so, I find it's a fun motivatotor to get back into an exercise routine when I slump off. I'm not into dieting, but for the duration of the DietBet I commit to exercising every day and making healthier food choices. It helps rebuild those healthy…
  • Week 4 was tough -- I had to decrease my jogging pace to 4.5-5 mph (on the treadmill), *and* my walking pace to 3.5 or even 3 mph at times. The "slowing down" advice has been good for me! :)
