Far from an engineer, but I'm going to take a stab at this... the water level goes down (but probably by a fraction). I'm guessing this because the cinder block is no longer pushing down on the water with an effective surface area of a canoe, but rather has just reduced the volume of the pool by the volume of one cinder…

Some do, some don't. The gym I was going to was small enough that there weren't really a lot of staff around that weren't working with clients. But definitely, if you can get the help for free... even better!

I asked a trainer a similar question a while back and they said 'if it'll get you working out and you'll stick with it, just about anything is a good start'. Might be a good idea to invest in one private session with a personal trainer to make sure you're using the weight machines correctly if you're unsure... nothing…

I've found that Clockwork Angels has worked well to turn people onto Rush with songs like The Wreckers, Halo Effect, Wish Them Well, and The Garden which are easily palatable to people who are still stuck on the pop/pop rock side of things. Naturally, you'll want to move her into the more Rush-like songs, but for a first…

Agreed, I'm hoping that (seemingly) everyone is having a 'hipster' moment and only likes it ironically.

Thanks Jimmmer, It's a pretty low-end HRM (SportLine Duo 1010) due to budget restrictions, but I'm not sure whether it qualifies as an 'ok HRM' or not (I'm a HRM rank newbie). However, the calibration is correct (sex, age, weight, and height are all that are possible to enter). Do you have any thoughts on whether it is…

If you're like me, the bad habits (e.g., snacking constantly) kick in more when you're bored/not otherwise occupied. To kick that, I plan out my weekend ahead of time so that I'm either busy/active or not near food for the better part of the weekend.

Hrmm, not sure and I'm definitely not an expert, but perhaps those might be areas where you've had a little fat loss, but the skin has not had time to tighten up around it completely? If so, keep drinking water, that's important for your skin's ability to replenish itself

While it's nice out, do the jumping exercises outside. Otherwise, what I did when I lived on the 3rd floor was just took more time (pausing when necessary) to make sure that I'm landing softly rather than trying to keep pace with Tony and crew. Other than that; don't know.
