When I started I was using 3 lbs and I was hurting, but that was four months ago. I am going to use 15 lbs just to chanllenge myself. If not, then I decrease it to 8 or 10 lbs.

The Danskin brand - resistance bands - really suck. I purchased the Gold Gym brand and they are good. They tell you the amount of resistance and they work out really good. Just make sure you follow the instructions whenever you begin or end your workout. Take care of your things and they'll last longer!
