Wow! I'm loving all the responses! These are all great. I can't wait to try some of them out when indulgence strikes. Thank you for the input, any continuance with this thread would be great! :)

All those ideas are great! Boiled eggs would be perfect for when I work mornings and quiches would be a great alternative to something muffin-like! :)

Kambucha is a great way to get your probiotics. If you haven't heard of it check out this website I included in my post. Probiotics are a great way to regulate the flora in your gut. Whenever I feel bloated, blocked up or if I go overboard on food and feel the classic "food hangover" the next day I drink a couple of these…

Just got off the phone with my friend..who's goin to kick some butt at Zumba tonight solo? This gal! xD

I like your guys no bs attitude. :) Extend the offer but by no means base your decision to work out if so n so follows through or not. It's nice to hear different perspectives on the issue too. I do enjoy my me time, working out in the mornings ideally. But sometimes if I have no choice but to work out after work I tend to…

Madworld, I feel ya. It's become so automatic when my friends cop out on me and later in the day they txt me like "I'm so sorry I had [insert excuse xyz]." I'll respond with a hopeful "it's ok! Next time" after saying it's ok, next time like five separate times it's time to give up on that person! Haha

Rumblefish, you hit the nail on the head!! I've debated with myself so many times that even though I am without a work out buddy sometimes I need to buck up and step out of my comfort zone and get out there! As far as local mfplers go, I have one good friend who works out with me on occasion but recently broke her ankle…

I'm 5'3" and all my weight is in my thighs/butt! Seriously at 143 my collarbones are prominent but have had strangers go 'Dat *kitten*!' (Ugh) Being short with a badonkadonk can be a nightmare finding jeans, that's why this leggings trend has become such a blessing! Even at my once upon a time lowest weight of 112lbs I…

Yahoo! Thanks for all the feedback, this will make researching/shopping for a DVD a lot more feasible and dare I say fun? I wish the library had more up to date fitness DVDs that way I could try them out before purchasing them. But with your guys help I'm excited to get my home fitness on! :)

Oi vey apologies for the typos in both my previous threads!

Oh my gosh, I feel so at home in this thread! 5'3" and my GW is 120-118. When I hit that I wanna do some serious strength training, not like fitness model status. But a killer butt, abs and arms wouldn't be too shabby. :) Shameless plug here, it would be great to friend fellow shorties with like minded goals. (Pescatarian…

You know now that I think about it I must be pescetarian too, I couldn't give up sushi so I opted to still eat fish! I had no idea there was a name for veggie fish eaters. :) Congrats Nanadena on reaching your goal, I welcome the support! I'm a Nebraska girl so beef and bacon and the like hold a special place in my heart.
