Focus on doing it rather than the weight. Build healthy, sustainable habits. You can do this!

101! Today! Been on here since 2007 (changed my name in 2009), but this is the longest without giving up and having to start over. Not surprisingly, it is also the most successful streak.

Feel free to add me! Been using MFP for years, but been focusing well the last few months and want to keep it that way!

One of my trainers says that sweat is your fat crying. So - yay!

Insanity Playground at my gym. Wow.

They have a LOT of fiber, and tend to fill me up. I don't eat them often but if I'm in a hurry and don't want to be starving later I will have one as a mid-morning snack. I think healthier than some out there. They are pricey, though, that is true!

This was my "awwww" for the day. How sweet!

I've only lost 21, but the benefits are there! Not so much joint pain (specifically ankles) after long walks or workouts. Not affected as much by heat. Higher energy levels. Also, PMS symptoms are reduced. I used ALWAYS know my period was coming, because I was bloated, grumpy, hungry, etc. Now I have been surprised by it a…

You can do it, think how far you have come already!

It makes it hard for me when it is take out that, for my taste, is not "worth it". Domino's falls in that category for me! But, it is a birthday celebration and it is the other person's choice, so just have a little bit and like you suggested, spread it out over a couple of days. Or just have one serving and offer the rest…

Good work! Congratulations!

Bring your own healthy stuff so that you have something to snack on if temptation strikes. (I also try to picture a coworker sneezing on the food in the break room, LOL.) I find that for me, it is all about being prepared with what *I* need for me so that I am not tempted to eat what others are eating just because it is…

Have you talked to a doctor? Just to be sure you don't have an underlying health condition?

Get a fitbit. I got one and found that the reason I was hungry all the time is that my fidgeting adds up. I need to eat about 2,000 calories a day to LOSE weight. It is the other part of the equation I needed to stick to a healthy eating plan. (How much I burn vs. how much I eat.) When I was only eating 1,200 calories a…

I, too, hate to be hungry. Tea has helped - flavorful tea. I sip it at work and it distracts me from being hungry because I have a taste in my mouth and something warm in my belly.

Unfortunately, there is no such thing as "spot reducing". Or I'd have a smaller rear. *Sigh*

Your story made me smile.

My husband I met when we both worked in the cafeteria in college. He was a cook, I was a server and cashier. Struck up a friendship when we discovered we were from the same hometown - grew up 5 minutes from each other but never met until we went away to the same college. We met in 1986. We've been married for 22 1/2 years.…

The only one I heard of that was dangerous was consuming large quantities in a VERY short period of time. It was for a radio contest and they thought water would be safe, so this gal slammed down a bunch of water. She died from it, but she wasn't JUST drinking too much - she drank too much too fast. So, I think all you'll…

Hmm, not sure this will help with the eating, but it will help you enjoy exercise more. My Spinning instructor told us this one last week: "Sweat is your fat crying!" I love this one, makes me want to workout more! Good luck to you, we all fall off the wagon sometimes, and it's ok as long as you get back on it.…

2 things work for me - brown rice (small servings, the calories can be a lot). AND, for some reason, sweet potatoes. I'm not sure what the fiber content is in those, but if I eat 1/2 a sweet potato for dinner, the problem is solved the next morning.

That's a good idea, too, thanks. I have been eating at home much more so I am more sure of what I am eating, but when I want to go out with friends I like to plan ahead. Although, it HAS been better for my wallet.

And she's so HAPPY about it! Good for her! (And yes, you deserve to brag a little for teaching her healthy ways so young!)

Not that I have ever heard. It might have some unpleasant side effects, but I don't think it will hinder weight loss.

That sounds yummy! And it makes me miss summer time. I love iced tea in the summer time.

IF you only have one a day - no biggie. Have it and enjoy.:drinker: IF you drink 'em all day long - yeah, try to cut down. They are full of chemicals. In small amounts, they won't do any harm. But common sense says if you pour chemicals into your body ALL DAY LONG, no matter what the company markets, it cannot possibly be…

Yay! So happy for you! I always think it works out better when you have known the person for a while. Best of luck! :flowerforyou:
