Thank you for the reply. I have 38 lbs to lose. I've lost 2 lbs in 7 weeks so far. That is eating the 1200 calories per day (only over for 1 or 2 days in that time period) and doing strength training for 30 min, 3x per week, and cardio for a total of about 105 min per week. I joined about a month agao and I love it! It was absolutely the right thing for me. As a previous poster mentioned, I'd tried everything and nothing seemed to stick. I like that it's all planned out for me, and I don't have to remember what machine to use or what weight I need to use, etc. I can't say enough good things…

I'm 5'0" and weighed 95-105 my entire adult life until the last few years when I put on a lot of weight!!! I started at 155 & lost a couple of lbs but it took a long time. Joined MFP a 6 weeks ago and have lost a lb a week. I would be happy at 105-110. Good luck to you!

I am a recent vegetarian (working on moving to vegan by eliminating cheese, although live2dream's post may have helped push that along LOL). For dinner tonight I had a "mexican pizza" with refried beans, cheese, salsa, and avocado on a flour tortilla. I often have rice bowls with rice, beans, veggies, etc (like Chipotle but made at home). Stir fry. Those are my go-to fast dinners.

The zest is the yellow part of the skin, and has a lot of flavor. It's best to use a zesting plane to get it off, which you do lightly so as not to get any of the white pith, which is bitter. You could use lemon juice, it won't be as strong of a flavor, but it would work.

Nutritional yeast has become a staple in my diet. Check out peasandthankyou.com and her recipe for Mmmm Sauce. I use it on veggies, rice (bowls), as a dip. It's so good.

larabars If you go to their website and you click on a flavor, they show you a picture of each ingredient (apples, walnuts, etc). How many food companies can show you pictures of ingredients that you'd actually recognize! :smile: That said, there have been many online recipes to make your own larabars-type bars
