a peanut butter substitute using sunflower seeds.

my kiddos hate it. :( have you tried it?

    I buy Maranatha Sunflower seed butter or Almond butter and totally love it.:heart:

    there's pea butter in the cupboard but I keep pushing it aside for the real peanut butter it just doesn't compare ;)

    I can't even imagine trying a peanut butter substitute unless I was allergic to peanuts. I do like Almond butter and Cashew butter but Peanut Butter is still my favorite.

    i got sunflower seed butter from trader joes once.. i loved it! but i wasnt trying to replace peanut butter, just wanted something different. i like cashew butter too. but nothing will ever replace pb for me.

    I tried making my own the other day from shelled sunflower seeds and found it horribly bitter! Does anyone make this homemade? What am I doing wrong?

    I love sun butter! Especially the crunchy kind! It's almost a danger food for me, though, as I seem to particularly love it by the spoonful.....

    I love it! PB used to be my thing but I can't tell you the last time I had it. Not with almond, sunflower and cashew butter in my pantry.
