I do need new shoes. I am going tomorrow to my local running store to get new shoes. If the pain continues I am going to see the Dr. I think I will do stretches and get back to my yoga 2 times a week. I know I shouldn't have jumped back into a 5 mile but I did and now I will deal. Thank you again all for your help.

It is feeling a little better today. I am going to do eliptical today and do a 4 mile tomorrow.

Thank you! That is so true about the loop. It was my run last night I went with a friend and she mapped out the run and it was a loop around her neighborhood. I said I'm done with the first loop! I am running the same tonight. I will have to see if I do better tonight!

I think I'm going to make it! I am at 210 as of today and put I wanted to weigh 207 for the final weigh in!!! I can do 3lbs in 10 days!! Monkey I am so sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. You have been doing a great job from what I have been seeing!! How is everyone else doing?

I like to have hot mint tea on hand. I also like to have lemons. They can go in water be used as a flavor for veggies or I have even used lemon on my salads. Keep it simple and buy what you enjoy. It is good to try something once in awhile but if you buy things you don't like it will just go to waste. Salad, craisins,…

My 1/2 Marathon is April 29th. I am not going to give up! I can go to the gym but my one friend told me I have to run outside to be ready for the marathon. I think I am going to run at the gym this week. Thanksgiving I am running 4 miles with family and friends. We call it our turkey trot. I think I will plan another run…

Monkey, I feel your pain. I am finding it hard to go running outside since this weather is so cruddy. I was running at 6am and have since switched to 7pm at the gym. I need to get back to running in the am outside. I like your idea of meals planed for the week ahead of time. Keep up the good work everyone!! We can do it!!!
