  • i agree, do not eat your calories back...If I did that I wouldn't lose weight. I suppose it all depends on an individuals matabolism, though. I'm finally beginning to lose weight again. At first, I was eating my calories back and it just wasn't working for me. I also have to eat at 1200 calories a day, I go over a little,…
  • You have come to the right place Jamie. I've been a yo yo dieter most of my life but I'm hoping to change that here. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter
  • That's an excellent question and one I wondered about too. I hope someone knowledgable answers your question, so we will both know. I work out in the fatburning mode, myself, and that wears me out for 30 minutes! :drinker:
  • Welcome Lindsey and thank you for sharing your story. It looks as if things are going much better with you and your health. You and I are at the same weight right now so I hope we can be freinds and support each other. I started on this site nearly two weeks ago and it is great! Much support and help with weight loss here.…
  • I have not lost enough weight yet to be noticable to others yet, but i have lost a significant amount in the past. What i found, is other female freinds do treat me a little different. Many were happy for me but there were quite some that actually seemed jealous and stayed a distance from me. It really hurt, but my weight…
  • have 30 pounds to take off and I knwo the journey is not over then. The real challenge is to keep it off so I am definitely long term. Please feel free to add me.
  • I'm 49. will that do? I was just saying to my daughter that most of the poeple on here seem to be young. I need more of the "mature" weight loss freinds too.
  • once a week is my weigh in day. when you weigh on a daily basis, sometimes your weight is shifting or doing funny stuff. hehe....so the scales lie sometimes. Once a week is more accurate I think. My problem is, everytime I see a scale, I want to jump on it, but every scale weighs a little differently, so I need to break…
  • reducing your daily calorie intake, exercise and I try to always hold my stomach in. It strengthens my abs. I do it when I'm exercising too. I really don't think sit ups ever helped me though. :noway:
  • hi Kaylee, I was one of them that gained a whole lot of weight with all three of mine. The good news, it does come off. This is a great site for support. Only 10 pounds more for you, you can do it. The harder part really is keeping it off. (lol) at least for me it is. oh, I live in Wa. state too.
  • Your on your way to recover and support here. I was an emotional eater, up and down weight loss junkie too. Love to be your friend.

  • Can you share your secret for getting 1000 calories after exercise? After my exercise i still have to be careful with not going over. If I don't exercise, like I didn't yesterday, because I was busy with church and church activities, I go over my calorie intake. I could use some good pointers with how to limit my calorie…
  • I am so sorry for your break up. i know how hard it is because I am recently divorced. I see on your ticker that you have lost 5 pounds. That is so good! You are on the right track. We all have bad days and good days. just don't give up. Today is another day. I went over my calorie intake yesterday, but today is a new day.…
  • I can easily drink 2- 8 ounces of water by just drinking water when I exercise. I actually can't do my exercise without drinking water and when I work,; I'm a housekeeper, so it's physical work. Also, when I use to do weight watchers, they said that you can include the water when you drink coffee or tea; so I do that too.
  • I'm new to this site too as of yesterday. I have only one freind so far, so feel free to friend me.
  • Stace bar, I need to make this work too. good luck and I think we can if we stay on track here. this site will help us.
