  • How do you add the breastfeeding calories onto your diary?
  • Would love the info for this group.
  • Shortwasp- What kind of exercise classes?? Were they at gyms or through some other program?
  • I am wondering the exact same thing!! I have been told that my body is toning nicely and I can see the difference in my legs, yet, my pants are still fitting the same as before... I just wish I could see a little more progress to keep me motivated. :grumble:
  • Protein is good to help your muscles after you work out. I was told by others of the MFP site, and it is what I go by now is that I would rather go over my protein and fiber during the day than my fat or carbs. I take a protein shake daily after my workout whether I need it or not in my food journal.
  • They are pretty good, although, I do not think they have enough sweet flavor. But, it might just be because my bananas have been in the freezer... Hmm.. Will have to re-try soon!
  • Congratuations on making the first step!! There is a lot of support and great tips here on the MFP website!
  • Great Job!! That first step is always the hardest but once you start getting into it your body will be craving those workout sessions!! Keep up the good work!

  • You look so good!!! You really are an inspiration for me and I am sure a lot of other people. Keep up the great work!!!!
  • I went out today and bought Jillian Michaels Whey Protein Triple Chocolate Shake. The taste isn't so bad and so far I am feeling very full after my work out than anyother time before. I am now thinking about going ahead and buying some type of protein bar for when I am on the run and don't have the time to make the shake.…
  • I do hit my calorie goal daily, I just seem to be more over in the fat and not at my goal for my protein.
  • Watching it right now as well!! I love how she is touching others and helping them through their weaknesses to make them a better healthier person!
  • I'll have to try this!! Sounds delicious. Thanks!
  • You may find yourself at first a few pounds heavier than when you weren't drinking your water, but your body will soon adjust to the amounts you drink and will either use, or get rid of it when it is not needed. The water weight that you may gain, is the reason why most people weigh themselves in the morning before…
  • Lol, I will have to buy some. Thanks for the advice mom!!

  • Why not try baked sweet potatoes?? They are delicious! They have the natural sweetness that can cure a sweet tooth and are so creamy, plus they dont take as long as normal potatoes. I like to bake them, and then add a little brown sugar, and cinnamon. It tastes just like pumpkin pie! Yum! just thinking about it makes me…
  • Yum! Sounds Great, I'll be trying this tomorrow! Thanks
  • The carlories are from when the sugars dissolve in your mouth from chewing it, as said above. Lol I will always remember when my mom would tell me not to swallow my gum because it would stay in your stomach for a very long time. But, I watched a show one time on the Food Network Channel and they did an experiment and asked…
  • I drink my water from water bottles and the ones I buy are 20 fl oz., that is 2.5 cups of water. Otherwise, an 8 oz glass of water, is usually the smaller glass that you would get when you buy cups. I hope this helps!
  • Thank you guys for your advice! Already today I have done better with my water than I have before, also thank you for the information on when I should know when my body needs more water or has enough, it has really helped!

  • What a great idea!!! Nice Job!!
  • My favorite excercise is riding a bike, whether it's stationary (which I do more often) or riding around outside.
  • I am going right along with the other two comments, the whole work out regiment has more than likely delayed your cycle. Also, because you have been pushing yourself so hard to meet your up-coming goal date, your body probably is not use to this.
