What did you put your weight loss goal at for mfp ??2lb per week?? with mfp they expect you to eat back your exercise calories on top of the 1200cal, with the tdee method, which I like better you do not eat back your exercise calories. so I would set my calorie goal at 1500 and not eat any exercise calories back, do this…

You are not logging consistently all your food, some days you log nothing, others just until lunch. Make sure you are weighing all your foods and logging consistently Louise edit, I am also post roux en y in 2004:)

how long has it been since a loss? what exercise do you do, have you had any "days off" and ate something different? what are you stats, height weight ? I looked at your diary, it looks good, but I think that mfp over estimates exercise calories, so when I went to tdee method -20% I started losing again:) Louise

yep it is doable, I lost 125lb with gastric bypass 9 years ago with a 90lb regain, It is very slow this time, but averaging a 1lb a week, that would be 52lb a year. That is perfectly fine with me, I am losing and learning to live this way this time, no more regain for this chick:)

What do the south beach diet recommend for carb totals? i eat higher protein, as 9 years post gastric bypass, when losing after the gastric bypass, carbs were kept under 30, I would love to know what you will keep your carbs at!:)

you weight around 200lb?? you must have chosen a 2lb weight loss goal per week? to get 1200 cal per day. MFP is set up for you to still lose weight if you eat back your exercise calories:) Louise

this, I was eating back my exercise calories and plateaued after starting to exercise, and on the days i wasn't exercising I was hungry, so i went with the tdee method, there you have one calorie goal, you don't have to worry about how accurate your calorie burns are ( I was getting so many different values) Louise
