In case no one has mentioned it yet...I give my daughter veggie straws/potato straws (by Sensible Portions). They're really good, and I usually only eat half the portion (about 36 straws for 140 cal) because they're very filling!

Yep. Got down to 117 a few years ago (healthy for my height-I'm 5'2) and only maintained it for about six months. My 'natural' weight (when I'm not really trying but not really eating too bad...just not working out a lot) is 130, and while I'm told I look smaller than I really am, I don't feel my best now. Of course NOW…

I've heard Shaun T is a better trainer, but it really is just about what you prefer. I think P90x focuses more on strength training, while Insanity is more cardio focused. I'm about to start P90x, then plan on doing Insanity after. I really need to get my cardio endurance up before I can handle that.

C-section 2 years ago. I'm really anxious about it because my mom had three c-sections and has lost a lot of weight over the years (she's probably around 115) and has a belly still. Mine is so obnoxious...I wear a 12/14 and could probably be a 10/12 if it wasn't for my belly. I keep reading that the whole "you have to have…

Wow!!! That's awesome!!!

So inspirational!! Your *before* weight is close to my current, your *after* is my goal! :D

What is your strategy?

1.) Light vanilla soymilk 2.) Bananas 3.) Apples 4.) Oatmeal 5.) 45 cal bread

LOL! I remember when I was really young, I've always struggled with extra-thick hair, and when I saw that the shampoo bottle said, "extra volume" I exclaimed, "MOM! WHY WOULD YOU LET ME USE THIS! I have ENOUGH HAIR AS IT IS!!"

From what I've been told by doctors-and heard from others-a weight gain of 5 lbs or less is normal. It's best to evaluate your eating habits before jumping to conclusions. That being said, if you genuinely feel you've tried EVERYTHING and given it time to work-I'd go see a doc. I had mine put in right after having my…

This made me LOL-especially seeing how much you've lost!!

Good God I hate this country more and more every day. Any Canadians like some American neighbors in their 'hood? :P

If it's SO bad that NOTHING helps, go see a doctor! Here's a few at-home remedies: *Epsom salt with warm water-soak a bit. *Can your man give you a foot massage? *Try a store-bought massager...they're usually not too expensive, and there's many different kinds. *Pop an ibuprofen if nothing else helps.

Whole wheat pasta+veggie rich sauce (you can make your own our buy-just check for Heart Smart or something of the sort) frozen chicken breasts and bags of frozen steamable veggies are my bread and butter, instant or regular brown rice, frozen fruits/veggies tend to be cheaper and are JUST as healthy as fresh...plus they…

HOW is this embarrassing? You look amazing! I might actually have to give this P90x thing a try!

And this is so true. I went from 172 to only 170 in the first six months pp. It's a myth that everyone just magically loses their baby weight right after having one. A lot of people ARE blessed in that way, but yeah, not me.

Wow! So inspirational. And you are SO pretty!

I honestly used to HATE them (I'm pale as well) and spent all last summer in over 100 degree weather in jeans because my stretch marks extend to the back of my calves as well. But y'know what? We had babies. We made something beautiful. We should not be ashamed. And in all honesty, I think we notice them a LOT more than…

Undies, fo sho. But I usually work out at home or my apartment's workout room, which is usually empty.
-
That's a grand idea....cutting in half beforehand...my bf and I end up eating a whole frozen pizza by ourselves simply because it's there.
-
Are they from a baby? If so, how old are they? My daughter is turning 2 and they are JUST now starting to fade. Also, have you ever seen a fit girl with stretch marks? They look sexy. xD I'm sure once you're in shape you'll hardly notice them!

Hey everyone, thank you all so much for your overwhelming support. Really, I was not expecting all of this. What an amazing group. So here's what happened: After the police was NO HELP (even after I tell them he's suicidal) and tells me he's probably just 'hooking up'. They seemed to pretend to take down a description, but…

An officer showed up at my door, he didn't seem to care that much, honestly. He said, "Boyfriend who go out to the bar aren't very high on our missing person list. He probably just got drunk and hooked up with someone." Wow, thanks, officer. He took down similar information on scrap paper and left. I don't think they're…

Called, she's on our way. Love that girl. :]

Thank you all for your support...I've contacted the hospitals, he's not anywhere. Police haven't called me back though it's been 30 minutes. I'm going to call my SIL now...
-
As I said in another post, I have urged him myself along with his therapist to get them, but he kept putting it off. I can't make him do anything-he's a human being.
-
Trust me, I didn't want him to go. I tried to stop him. We also have a small child at home, I can't just get up and go with him.
-
Thank you, I think I'll call the hospitals, now.

He was relapsing, unfortunately. He had been pretty good for a few weeks, like I said...then bam...like a brick. I keep checking the traffic and crime reports, nothing so far. I'm not sure if that's good or bad.
