Dogs are extrememly alert to any changes in a human body. Glad the dog got you up. I go by the 15 every 15 rule. 15 grams of carbs.. wait 15 minutes.. test... and if its still low eat 15 grams of carbs again. ANYTHING as long as it has carbs. Nuts are VERY LOW in carbs so they wont help unless it a peanut buttter cracker…
