  • My husband and I have a spinner and also outdoor bikes. It depends on how long your legs are and personal preference, but your seat should NEVER be so high that you are completely straightening your legs to the point where your knees lock out. There should always be at least a little bend in your knees.
  • It's been such a slow progress I really have to think about this. It is such a good question. I think I just intuitively knew that my body needed it....and then I discovered a couple of years later that my mind and spirit also need it. Yoga has been a true blessing. The most amazing thing about Yoga for me is that you…
  • Thanks. I will check out the groups. I used to practice Iyengar and it's funny that you mention it because I was just thinking about Iyengar in the shower this morning!!
  • Thanks for this post. They say that balancing your pH is key to health and preventing disease. Another tip I learned on balancing pH is to add 1 TBS of organic Apple Cider Vinegar to your water in the morning before breakfast, and if you want to be more aggressive, do this before every meal. It's only…
  • Hi Everyone! New here for the 2nd time. My first time around on MFP was good but short. This time I plan to stay and wanted to get involved in the online community. Love the name of this group. We truly are without limits. Hope to make some MFP community friends. Julie
  • I am pretty much the same way. My calorie intake is usually around 1500/day, but I always allow room for my 'treats.' Had a Panera Bread shortbread cookie with my dinner last night and popcorn before going to bed. It seems to work for me. The extra carbs in the evening keeps me calm and actually gives me a better night…
  • Hi Jgolden. It's nice to meet you. I too joined MFP last year, but then quit, gained weight and am now back on track. It's so awesome that you are a fitness junkie--better than any other kind of junkie :-). You are more welcome to add me as a friend if you would like. Blessings....
  • Hi. I am also New-ish. I started MFP last year and then stopped and just rejoined a week ago. Just wanted to say hello and "welcome." And, as the others, feel free to add me to your friends list.
