I can tell you're struggling ... It's a big challenge for all of us. Set some smaller goals that give you the opportunity to celebrate success and find ways to reward yourself that don't involve food .... I like to buy new workout gear for myself. Please feel free to add me ... I'd like to cheer you along on your journey!

I've done the Shred many times. Great workout for building lean muscle. Look for a group that is also doing the Shred; it will help with keeping you motivated.

"Murder at the Vicarage" by Agatha Christie, "Sixteen Brides" by Stephanie Grace Whitson, " The Monk" by Matthew Gregory Lewis, "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance: An Inquiry Into Values" by Robert M. Pirsig, and "The Red Queen" by Philippa Gregory. I love my Kindle!

Thought I would chime in too ... I'm on day 6. I didn't think this was something I could do, but I'm actually really enjoying eating this way. Would love to add some friends to my friend list who are sticking with this challenge for the month and beyond!! Please send me a friend request if you would like to be support…

You guys are making me feel bad for you : ( That's a lot of extra work ... Kudos for all the extra effort you go through just to eat healthy.

I'm 45. When folks meet me in person, especially when I'm sporting the "natural look", they assume me to be much younger ... mid-30's most of the time. It is fun to see their reaction, and not bad for the ego! : )

I grew up in Central Pennsylvania, fairly close to Dutch Country (Amish). I've been told that I have a tendency to "talk up" at the end of sentences, so it sounds a lot like I'm asking a question even when I'm making a statement. LOL

I'm not from the UK : ( ... but wish I was! I think it's pretty nifty that this site pulls together so many folks from all over the globe. I couldn't resist since spaghetti squash is one of my absolute favorite foods to prepare to add this link to the string. More information then you'll ever need to know about this veg,…

Welcome Tyree! Congratulations on deciding that you need to do something for you! You need to start with learning about good nutrition and get that body moving. The better you take care of your body, the better you will feel. In the beginning this might be a bit challenging especially if you haven't ever focused before on…

Most folks don't like to workout on a full stomach, but you probably should be eating something before you workout even if it's something light. Overnight your body has used up all the energy from you dinner the night before. The body needs fuel! I would eat a piece of fruit, like a banana or some apple slices, and a…

Me too! I'm lucky ... my husband looks a bit like him, at least I think so. His family thinks I'm a lunatic!!

Believe it or not, many of your dark green veggies are great sources of protein. 1 oz of spinach, kale, broccoli, rapini, collard greens, mustard greens, and asparagus, all have 1g protein and are about 7-10 cals. per ounce. So, eat your veggies!

Many grocery store chains, like Wegmans, have their own brand as well; you can save a couple of pennies on the store brand and gotta tell you that I can't tell the difference.

You look adorable ... wonderful job!!

Great job, Debbie! I'm happy to hear that you are feeling successful! Keep up the good work!

I'm a Lifetime WW member, but a true convert to MFP. WW did teach me a lot about eating healthier, reading labels and fitness. I used to go to meetings, but I've found much more support from the MFP community. I've learned so much more on this site about nutrition and fueling my body ... there is more to understand than…

You have both done a wonderful job!

I can't do those at all the way they demonstrate that exercise on BB.com; try them with your feet on the floor. Watch this YouTube video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0326dy_-CzM&noredirect=1. This shows some different levels for this exercise.

You look great, Sweetie!! Nice job with all your hard work! Hugs!

You set the rules in your house, so you need to be diligent ! I have 3 "tweenagers" who are reluctant to eating healthy all the time so we try to make small changes. Besides, the older they get the more exposure they have to "choices" outside your control. I hate to say it but my hubby is part of the negative influence in…
