Same here...got a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes. :flowerforyou:

WOW! I guess I'm not the only one that thinks you look like a model! Congratulations, you are a beautiful woman!
-
LOL! I'm also turning 50 this year and I clicked on this thinking that you were giving ideas, not looking for some. A European vacation, say to the south of France, or Germany would be my ideal way to celebrate.

OMG...you look gorgeous! :flowerforyou:

I run in the rain...and I don't care if people stare...more power to me!

I was going to recommend this page too. She's my favorite instructor on the net... I love Esther!

I love Dexter too, but I don't have Showtime, so I usually have to wait for the DVD to come out in August.

The last one is wrong, I'm the one that fixes things around the house. LOL!

I used to get hip pain when I first started running. I think it had something to do with the shoes I was wearing, they were just plain old exercise shoes. Once I got fittted for the right type of running shoes the pain went away.

My jaw "dropped" when I saw the last photo (purple dress). You've done an awesome job, and you look amazingly beautiful!

I think this one is getting the "most views" today! LOL!

What a coincidence, I did the same thing yesterday. My coffee drink was also very watered down. I'm planning ahead next time. I'm going to brew some really strong coffee, then put it in an ice cube tray and freeze overnight. The next day I'll put the "coffee" ice cubes in the blender with the milk and protein powder and…

Check out this website for free online yoga videos, it's really good, my favorite among the many out there! http://www.yogatic.com/

I've had back problems most of my life, so I can totally relate. I've always exercised (running daily), but it wasn't until I started doing yoga a couple of years ago that my back problems got better. I still get hurt once in a while, but not like before. I'm pretty sure it's all that core work that is required for yoga…

Karen, It looks to me like it's similar to doing pilates or yoga. Try the following website (cut and paste to your search bar) to see if you can find something that sort of resembles it. Just follow the instructions and it will calculate the calories for you. If you need further help using the calculator, just let me know.…

You look amazing! Congratulations and thanks for being an inspiration to others!

You look fantastic! Very curvy, I wish I was like that!
-
Yeah, I don't give it too much thought. The important thing is that we are here, even if we miss a day or a few!

Yoga has really helped me with this problem. I've been doing it for a couple of years and I've noticed that my hips don't pop as much as they used to.
-
Exactly! That's what I thought too...you look like Princess Diana!
-
Sounds to me like she's trying to take advantage of your kindness.

I just read the article, that's neat! Thanks for sharing.

I never fall for tuna or chicken salad away from home...they are full of fat and calories! I make my own low fat tuna & chicken salad , that way I know exactly what I'm eating!

I believe that the 28-30 g. of protein are for a full serving, which is generally 3 oz. Which means that an ounce of meat provides about 9-10 grams of protein. Check out this website to by the USDA, this is where I get a lot of the nutritional information on some of the foods I eat.…

Yep, I know what you mean. I'm one to have only a few friends at a time, that way I won't be overwhelmed by the amount of posts. Even with just a few friends I've had to delete some that I supported on a constant basis, but never heard from one way or the other. I figure, If they cant't take the time to check up on me…

How about bike riding? I did that when I had to stop running because of hip pain a few years ago.

That is so clever!

From personal experience (way too many times!), even walking hurts. I would say to give your back a rest...let it heal. You may do more damage by trying to burn calories through exercise. If you're talking about burning 200 cals or so... is the possiblity of further injury worth it? Eat more than your 1200 calories, but…

Oh my gosh! Your story brought tears to my eyes. Someone out there IS watching out for you. I wish you the best and I hope that the therapy helps you heal. It's always nice to read an uplifting story, thanks for posting it.
