Too true! Both sodium & salt are the evil pair that lurk in most foods on the shelves these days! I learned to manage my calories a whole lot more effectively - in the beginning I would eat rubbishy food, because I could and still be under but end the day feeling rubbish, slumped & hungry..Much better now I've started…

Thankyou mum2paris your post really spurred me on :) and its great know I'm not alone when battling a stubborn scale! Hate em so much hehe. I'm defo gonna keep up with the running as its kept me focused made me feel better than I have in FOREVER. Will keep you guys posted. :) xx

I'd become obsessed with the scales, so, I've not been weighed for a week now & that for me is an accomplishment. Its not afterall all about the numbers - I measure, also and at the minute weigh more than I did 3 weeks ago but measure smaller, so try to look at the bigger picture if you do decide to weigh daily :) x

Here in the UK we really only go by half-pound measures, so that would've been a maintain on my scales..so, on the flipside its 0.3lbs of a lb just 0.2lb next week and thats half a pound gone :) I know its hard to stay motivated and I KNOW its tough when they don't say what you want, but you are doing something truly…

Ahhh I understand now, so while my goal is lets say 1500 a day, and if I'm exercising 300 of those away I'm actually only eating 1200? I see now what you mean. Maybe I'll shoot for eating half of them or move my 'activity level' down a notch xx

Thanks guys, Rather than muscle gain after a lot of reading it does look like its probably water retention :) thats okay, though, I'm gonna stick with it even after a week my body feels much better and I have loads more energy so something right is happening.xx

I started on the 2lb mark, but as I'm a mum full time to a 7month old and am awake from 5am through til 11pm I figured I'd go for 1.5lb a week which allowed me an extra 2-300 calories a day - I guess it's all relative, try the 2lb mark for a few days & see how you manage on the calories it allows you and if you struggle,…

Well I've put 1.5lbs as my target per week girls & added lightly active as my status (rather under than overestimate my status of movement!!) and it says I'm entitled to 1520 much more achievable!! :) xx

Yeah it seems to be for the 2lbs loss! I think I'm gonna shift it to lightly active and go for a 1.5lb a week loss :) thanks for that. Crazy 1200 I'm starving on that, 1-200 cals difference sure goes a hell of a long way. Baby eddie is 7 months and has been crawling two weeks :) murder! xx

Thanks guys, I eased up on the intensity of my work out last night & as a result it's slowed the bleeding to a halt! I'm a hundred percent confident its a result of running - but I'm booked in with the doctor 3.30pm just to be sure on Monday (: Thanks for the replies really appreciate the input & happy running xxxx
