I feel everybody's pain on this thread. I've been an out of control binge eater for about seven years and have gained over 100 pounds as a result. I can't stop bingeing. I can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. Kudos to all of you who have had moments of victory. I'm very proud of you because I know how hard it is.…

I think, "This will make everything better. This will make the pain go away. This is better than other addictions like drugs and alcohol." It's totally a fill a void kind of thing.

I try not to keep foods that I "crave" in the house such as sweets and chips. You are right. It's not appetizing to binge on veggies.... veggies also have fiber which will fill you up faster and help you reach satiety faster.

Yes, I love food, too! I have been a yo-yo dieter for the past 27 years. I do a lot of binge eating. I eat for comfort. I totally have the fear of being hungry and also the fear of starving to death ( I was anorexic at 16). So I overeat to shut these voices out, I totally relate. I tell myself that it's okay to be hungry and that I will be able to get to food soon and that there is no need to freak out. I hope this helps. Good luck!

I notice it in the face, arms and stomach. I am down 29 pounds since Christmas and I don't think I notice a difference either. Keep working hard and you'll notice the chages soon!

I'm in the same boat. I've tried MFP off and on for the past two years but haven't been serious about it until last week. I just started using message boards and making friends. Anybody can feel free to add me as their friend.

We worked for 75 minutes today on arms, stomach and stretches. Used exercise ball with weights, and exercise band. Did repeated intervals of repetitions and cardio bursts of jogging and squats.
