i've DEFINITELY done that before!!!! it's definitely not cool, nor is it fair!! especially after all that hard work!! if it happens again, tell yourself that all the exercise you're doing at that moment hasn't caught up with your body yet, but it would catch up shortly! do anything to slap the bad thoughts out of your head…

i want to get in on this conversation as well! i'm a vegetarian of 10 yrs. i tried being vegan for the summer of 2007 and found it really hard at the time; however, i'd really like to give it another go! even though i'm vegetarian, there are still a lot of unhealthy options that i tend to turn to. i don't know what it is,…

i'm just getting back into the MFP thing, too. but i've learned that some people do eat their exercise calories, and some people don't! it's up to you obviously. if you don't though, doesn't it say that you're "under" your calorie goal for the day?? with a note underneath saying that that could potentially be harmful? i…

edamame (soy beans)! in restaurants, they usually serve them warm, but they can also be enjoyed at room temperature. they're awesome in shell with a teeny bit of salt. but you can buy them out-of-shell as well! sometimes i'll eat a lil bowl of 'em as though they were jellybeans!!

Your nickname gave me a chuckle! Definitely something I can empathize with! hehe. Congrats on the 25 lbs! That's a huge success! Seems like you're on the right track. And you joined MFP, which will only help you even more. You've already cut out pop and are exercising regularly, which seems to have helped you a lot! You're…

i love seeing everyone's before and after pictures! talk about motivational... so, for those of you who have used it and found success, have you been following the diet plan as well? (i'm assuming there is one). and what sort of equipment do you need to buy? ?

wow, everyone has a lot of great tips.!! which will help me too! also -- dark chocolate is apparently good for you for different reasons, so if you're REALLY craving sweet, allow yourself a little piece of dark chocolate here and there. don't forget, once you've started and are well on your way, you're going to be a lot…

good for you!! it's unbelievable how much lighter you feel when the weight comes off eh.?! it really does make a big difference. and not only that, but losing weight is SOOOOOO incredibly motivating in itself! you're now that much lighter and probably HAPPIER to continue with exercises when you see that it's having a true…

mmmmm!! those sound like great recipes!! i've yet to cook with tabbouleh, but will in the near future now that you've brought it up ! ryanmelissa, what's Ener-G? I've never used or heard of that before. Is this the same maker of those Emergen-C drinks I've been reading about on here?

thanks guys!

wow. you are a true inspiration.!! keep at it. i look forward to hearing about your progress! i was curious about the 2 lb per day thing too.... myfitnesspal doesn't give the option to put anything higher than 2 lbs as your weekly weight loss goal... (which IS highly achievable for someone with more weight to lose, myself…
