Congrats. Its kind of interesting because the list of stuff you mentioned, I went through the same thing at my highest weight. I felt like I was suffocating at night with the extra weight around my neck and developed sleep apnea. The sciatic pain in my lower back and leg. Heartburn. Man I don't miss those days. I am a firm…

That is amazing. I am a firm believer in not rushing weight loss. I have done that twice before and within a year started gaining it back. My highest weight was in 2011 and I almost hit 300 pounds. I immediately went on a major exercise craze and watched my calories so incredibly closely. I lost 90 pounds in about a year.…

It is hard sometimes to get motivated to go to the gym alone. I used to only go when my hubby would go. If he skipped I skipped. I found an aquazumba class and now I go on my own those two days and the other two days I go, I do weights and some biking. I turn on some good music and change it up. I don't mind going alone…

You can. I would just make changes. Look at that instead of the big picture. To me looking at the big picture can seem overwhelming and when we dont' do it fast enough we want to give up. Find something today that you can change. And then keep going. Start adding some exercise. And then add more. It will get easier.

That is fantastic. I watch my 600 lb life and one thing I notice is that most of these individuals aren't prepared for the mental part that comes with cutting back on food. I think taking it slow and trying is the best thing you can do. Its amazing what you have accomplished and you are an inspiration to all of us. Keep up…

That is awesome. I have been trying to eat less meat and animal byproducts.

I also make pizza using the whole wheat pita bread. Will sometimes add turkey pepperoni and some mozarella cheese. Add some veggies and delish

Everyone is different so you have to find what works for you. I know for me personally I dropped weight faster by eating more throughout the day and keeping my metabolism up than just eating one time a day. I would recommend readjusting your diet a little and spreading your food out more and see it at helps get you…

This is my 3rd time I think. I actually lost almost a 100 pounds in 2011 because myfitnesspal helped me keep track of my calorie intake. I then had a injury and let that get the best of me and so I gained about 70 pounds back, came back for a week or so last year and now I am back again. I like reading and seeing peoples…

I actually made a veggie sandwich using 100% whole wheat bread and used roasted eggplant as the "meat" and added lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, green pepper , onion and avocado and it was really good. You could also make a low fat soup and make a lot and freeze it. I am planning on making a sweet potato and black bean chili…

Congrats. You look like a different person

My bf is 290 and his is set for 2250 but he is doing it slow and scheduled for 1 pound a week so yours doesn't seem too high.

I totally believe having goals is a great idea. Several years ago , I used this and lost almost a 100 pounds (I injured myself and couldn't walk for awhile so I used that as an excuse to eat and do whatever I wanted and it just went downhill from there). I have kept some of it off but gained a lot back. I am now back using…

I wrote on your other thread about losing weight when you are in pain. Start off slow. I can't do most exercises because I have two herniated discs and degenerative disc disease so I am in pain if I stand up too long or sit too long. I joined a gym with a pool and swim about once a week, I also use the recumbent bike. I…

I have major back issues and i too have experienced a lot of pain standing. I joined a gym and swim which takes pressure off of the back and the the recumbent bike. I don't swim or bike fast but I feel even a little is better than nothing. I am certainly no doctor but I think your body is hurting because of the weight so…

Congrats!!! Its always nice to see hard work pay off. Enjoy your jeans.

It sounds to me that the guy you are considering marrying is very immature. Being jealous of the biological dad, hiding your son's tablet, saying things like he is "kitten" and like his dad. Who does that? My husband's stepdad came into his life when he was 8 years old and his stepdad was similiar to your fiance and he…

YOu look great. Glad to see someone from my neck of the woods on here.

You look wonderful

Congrats on the weight loss man. Inspiring.

I also am 42 and have 100 pounds to lose. I have a horrible relationship with food and three years ago lost a bunch of weight but because of that relationship I ended up gaining a lot of it back.

Great job

Sent you a request as well. My original goal was about 150 pounds and I actually dropped 96 pounds in 2011 but gained 53 pounds back in the past year and a half so I am trying to get back on the bandwagon and drop the other hundred now that I wanted to lose in the first place. I am about 250 now.
