Their is something for everyone in Chicago. If you are staying downtown all the hotels have concierge service to help you out with things to do based on your tastes. I would say some of the big touristy things to do are Willis Tower ledge, Deep dish pizza, and their are a lot of good boat tours.

I think of food as energy like fuel in a car. A car will eventually stop running if it runs out of fuel (food).

I would get 'The Royal Burger' as described and savor it because their will be so much greasey goodness that your body will get rid of it before you even have time to track the calories. :)

I hit a snag and got the scale moving again by not eating any carbs (simple and/or complex) after late afternoon so that they were not being stored. I also drank more milk and upped protein because i think the suggested protein on here is a little low for active people.

my wife hit a plateau when she was dropping pounds and was also successful going from 1200-1400 calories per day to 1700-2000 calories a day.

i use a cheat meal to spike my calorie intake once a week. i believe in it. it raises your metabolism to burn the calories and future calories.

I have been smoke free for a little over 1 year. I smoked myself sick, 3 cigarettes at a time, for a whole pack so that my body physically wouldnt want them and when i was done with the pack I didn't have cravings and used the exercise to divert my attention away from smoking.

When I eat healthy I can eat A LOT of food. Some high calorie foods i like are almonds for snacks, a real whole egg at breakfast and protein shakes can add calories too.

i use a 1 lbs bag of baby carrots as my munching food for 150 cals for the whole bag

my wife is doing a fitness challenge at her gym and started at 1200 calories a day and was not losing like she used to lose weight when dieting. she upped her calories and the weight is coming off faster cause her body is not soring calories.
