I use it as my main exercise. YOu have to do it all the time... at least 4-5 days a week for about 40-45 minutes to notice results. I would start of slow then increase each day. Some of the programs they have on certain treadmills are great!

I eat about 1400 - 1600 depending if it is the weekend...but I still cant lose weight!!!!

Yes, I will try that this weekend... and make sure to plan ahead! I need to get out that state of mind that I deserve it for working out really hard during the week.

I do the same thing. I say..... "this is my time to enjoy" Now its monday and Im thinking ok back to NOT eating again and trying to work out each day. I have had chips, choc, fast food.... :( I need to stop blowing out my weekends because it makes the weeks pointless in trying to lose weight.

Is remember to be patient. Before I joined MFP, I lost 15 pounds simply from watching what I ate and hit the treadmill for at least 35 minutes. However, I have been at a complete stand still without seeing any type of results on the scale. :( I just know I have to keep pressing forward because in the long wrong its going…

great job! I need to purchase a HRM. Are there any that you recommend? I do an incline walk on my treadmill. I set the incline to 10 and walk about 3.1 speed. I walk on a 10 incline to increase my calories burned. Before I started myfitness, I had lost 15 pounds but now im stuck at a stand still. I think I need to switch it up
