I too recommend the book "How Not to Die" and also the documentary "What the Health?" on Netflix. I've been WFPB for just over 4 weeks and my energy levels are through the roof and I'm 10 lbs. down. Nutritionfacts.org and it's Daily Dozen app are great resources too!

I watched "What the Health" on Netflix and subscribe to nutritionfacts.org on YouTube. Also recently read "How Not to Die" by Dr. Michael Greger. Nutritionfacts.org also has an app with Dr. Greger's Daily Dozen checklist available for free!

Since MFP isn't really set up for kids under 18, consider taking a look at sparkteens.com. There is a wealth of age appropriate resources and she can set up an account and log her food and exercise there....
