  • I'm here! I, too, took the weekend off. I still worked out, just didn't do the Shred. So, I am starting Level 2 today.
  • Good morning! I got up this morning and did the Shred...Level 1 is done! I am excited to start Level 2 and do something different. I am feeling better doing the workout - I am able to get thruogh without stopping and it seems easier. Now we have to start all over again with Level 2 and slog our way through it in the…
  • Done as promised! Glad that's done with. On to tomorrow!
  • I, too, did not get out of bed this morning to get it done in the a.m. but am putting it out there that I will do it tonight! Great job to everyone!
  • I finished Day 5 yesterday and will see about doing Day 6 later tonight. I had a migraine last night and still have residual pain from it so will wait awhile longer and see how it goes, otherwise today will be a rest day and then back at it tomorrow. But I am still hoping to do it tonight.
  • Nope - still doing the modified but I notice they are getting easier so will probably try the "real" pushups in the next day or two but I know I'll have to go back down to modified at some time during the workout. Hopefully by the end I'll be doing all of them on my toes. I, too, am feeilng the most soreness in my…
  • Thank you Supermaninprogress for the great post. It's nice to hear from someone who has completed the 30DS. It gives me hope that I will see a change if I keep at it. It was hard for me, too, to get out of bed this morning but I did it and am glad I did. Got that workout out of the way and can go on with my day and not…
  • Day 3 done! I was up at 4:30 this morning to get it done and I am starving now!!! The cardio part was easier and I, too, love the punches. My thighs aren't hurting but boy my arms sure are sore/tired. But I got through it and it's done for today. Now off to eat some breakfast. Have a great day everyone.
  • I also put it under circuit training. :)
  • Great job! I use 5 lb. weights and the side lunges with arm raises were harder today. Another way to modify them is to alternate arms when you do the raises, that way you're not raising both arms at the same time - it really is a little easier but still a good workout. I finished Day 2 today. Tomorrow I will have to be up…
  • Day 1 of 30DS DONE! I'm so excited to be doing this. I'm really looking forward to seeing what kind of results we all get. Congrats to everyone and let's do it again tomorrow! Oh, and I would like to add...it's amazing how much I can sweat in just 20 minutes!!
  • If you are used to 10 lbs. then I would use those but maybe have some lighter weights (6-8 lbs.) nearby in case you need to alternate or go down a couple lbs. while doing the workout.
  • I think I will see how I do and if I don't feel like I need a rest day I won't take one. But...knowing how I am I will probably end up taking one rest day a week, I think I'll need it!
  • Hello, everyone. My name is Debbie and I'm 53 years old and newly widowed. I live in Nebraska and I have two daughters, both all grown up and married; 33 and 31. I have two grandsons, 4 yrs. and 5 months. I am back at this and thought 30 Day Shred would be a good challenge. I have tried it before but never done the whole…
  • I would also like to join this group! I was actually going to start it April 1st and it would be great to be a part of a group doing the same thing!
  • I was doing pretty well up until two years ago when my husband of 34 years was diagnosed with liver cancer. In the early stages I was able to keep my eating and exercising pretty regular and managed to keep off the weight I had lost. But as time went on and things got worse my good eating habits and regular exericse went…
