Working in entertainment, even though I have no aspirations to be in front of the camera, you're sometimes judged on how you look nonetheless. Why? No reason other than perhaps people being accustomed to doing that. So now there is this weird and illogical motivation to be in very good shape for no particular reason that…

You kinda do.

there is a whole book about this strategy, called The Game, by Neil Strauss. So yes, some guys do play The Game.

This sounds interesting - how do you use it to replace heavy cream - in what recipes (not for making whipped cream, I'm sure).

I think this is the issue for a lot of women - they like how it looks, they hate how it feels. My most recent ex (that sounds bad, but of course, I've date more than one woman in 41 years) asked me to shave the mustache part of my goatee, leaving just the bottom. I complied, as it was not a big deal to me, though visually…

yes folks. Do not eat too much tuna. Check the permitted amounts for your weight. Most tuna (especially big tuna used for big filets) is infected with the most toxic (to humans) substance on the planet, mercury. See the movie The Cove (its streaming on netflix if you have it) to learn more.

the idea behind five small meals (and I don't know that its proven) is metabolic consistency. You eat smaller meals, keeps the metabolism at a more consistent rate then three larger meals, and avoids the post-meal fatigue that one can feel from digesting a lot of food consumed at one sitting. It makes sense that its harder…

Transplanted NY'er here. Happy to live in Venice, though its made me a bit wimpy about the weather. I get cold on chilly Venice evenings, colder than I remember being in NY during winter nights. I think its a mind-set, as well as my blood getting thinner due to the normal climate. Who knows.

hey there. I'm in Venice. I'm a movie producer and also an attorney (mostly entertainment). I ride a bicycle frequently and was a pretty regular cross trainer at the local Gold's gym, but a high ankle sprain has meant I'm only doing weight training (and bicycling around my hood) for the last six weeks or so (when not…

good luck. be careful with the sodium too. i take a BP med as well, and have been much more successful limiting calories than limiting sodium intake. Sodium seems to pop up in the most unexpected places (cottage cheese? really?). Anyway, good luck on your journey.

yeah, i don't think that works. at all.
