Many years ago I went to see a menstrual specialist at my local hospital because I was so disturbed by my mentrual symptoms (my family doctor was concerned that I had PMDD). I used to spend the last couple days before my period crying uncontrollably and thinking everyone in my life hated me. This is the advice that he gave…

My nine year old son is in bed by 8:30 and up by 7am. I have a very odd schedule (I have two 14 hour days and a few days off) so I can exercise while he is at school on a couple of my day offs. However, I do take him with me to the gym for an hour weekly and he visits with my dad for an hour on the weekends so I can get…

I had to pull my license out to check the weight. Apparently I had 68.2kg so about 150 pounds. I'm about 12 pounds above that right now (but probably was 170 when I got my license renewed). My goal weight is 140 so I guess I'll pass by it on the way.

This is amazing and your attitude is awesome :) It's amazing to think that you've already dropped a whole full-sized adult off your back.

How about working out with friends or in a class atmosphere. I find that I don't focus on sweating or otherwise feeling uncomfortable if I'm giggling with some friends.

I'm also one who carries all my extra weight in the tummy so I get the "when are you due" or "congratulations" all the time (even get ppl offering me their seat on the bus). Which my comeback is always "I'm not pregnant I'm just fat"..always shocks the other into silence....which makes me laugh.

I find campino sugar-free hard candies do the trick since they take so long to eat and they're only 10 cals a piece.

My son was very large and while i didn't put on tons of weight I carried all in the front and my stomach was a mess of stretch marks plus a ridge opened up between my abdominal walls (I had to have physiotherapy after my son was born for it). My stomach looks alright now. I won't show it in public because of the number of…

Honestly,...I gained 45 pounds with my son and lost it all withing 6 weeks after he was born. Of course my son was very large (over 10 pds) and everything else (blood, placenta etc.) was a little higher too because of that. I put on all the weight when my son was 2....so now I've got the weight and no second baby to show…

Sweetie...just because you need to try them doesn't mean you need to eat them all. Just have a few bites of each to get a handle on the different tastes. As for craving sweets when you're stressed. It's good that you recognize the trigger. Now you need to research some other ways that you can deal with the emotional stress…

discussions of boobies make me angry. I'm a 34E or F depending on brand which means I have to pay 10x as much for a bra even though each boob isn't any larger than a woman who is a 38C or D.......just because my proportions are different the world has a blatant sizest attitude to breasts :)

Hi Sheri, I'd like to try this. I'll friend you shortly. AM
