  • After my first daughter was born I had three gallbladder attacks and knew I had stones. The attacks stopped for months, then I started focusing on my weight, lost 25lbs and they started up again. I had attacks weekly for another month before I had to have it removed. So the weight loss didn't cause the problem, but it did…

  • Day 1 went pretty well! I am feeling pretty focused. Today I will - Eat within my calories - 30 minutes of exercise - Drink more water then yesterday. I am really hoping to be in the 140s by next Sunday. I haven't been in the 140s since the 9th grade (which was 14 years ago).

  • Hi! I am Kim! I am 28 years old. Mom of 3. I started my weight loss journey April 1st shortly after my son was born and have lost 63lbs. My first goal was to hit 155lb and bring my BMI into a healthy weight range which I hit awhile ago. I then changed my goal to 145lbs and have been having a tough time staying focused. My…
  • I joined. I need a little extra motivation these days. I am Kim! I am a stay at home mom of three. My son was born March 14th and I started back on here April 1st. I was able to lose all the baby weight plus an extra 44lbs for a total 63lb loss. Which is awesome. But the scale hasn't really moved since about Sept 1st. I…
  • Watching the biggest loser and knowing that I was the same size or bigger then some of the contestants. And watching the scale go up every doctor appointment while pregnant, really makes you very aware of how big you are. Before pregnancy I had no idea how much I weighted. Pre -pregnancy (first baby) - 195lbs Highest…
  • Thats awesome! I did the same thing. Bought my dream dress in a size way to small. Couldnt even do it up. 20lbs later, by the time I needed to do my alterations I could zip it up completely. Best feeling ever!
  • I was confused at first! That`s cute tho! Congrats!!!
  • For me, a cheat meal is eating something you really probably shouldn't have ate for a meal, even if it fits into your calories. A Cheat Day for me is going more the 200 calories over for the day. I try to save "cheat days" for things like weddings, birthday parties, etc.
  • Thanks everyone. I am feeling very motivated and focused right now :)
  • I am eating around 1700-1800 because I am breastfeeding. MFP gives me 1200 and I add an extra 500 for breastfeeding.
  • I started the pregnancy at 195lbs, ended it at 242lbs. I chose 214lbs as my start weight on here because that's where the baby weight stopping coming off by itself. So I was very overweight before I got pregnant, I hadn't lost the weight from my older daughter.
  • Thanks so much for fixing the pictures for me!!!! :)
  • I sent a request! I am down to my last 10lbs.... might go for another 10... need some new MFP friends as a lot of mine have fallon off the weight loss wagon... Anyone else feel free to add me as well. I am always on and ready to motivate!:)
  • That's what I am trying to do now. I just had our last baby and I am down 49lbs and almost at my goal weight. I cook healthy meals and try to make sure we as a family our being active. So I try not to pressure him and I do what I can to ensure he's eating healthy when he's home.... but I am hoping someday soon he'll hit…
  • I showed this to my husband in hopes to inspire him. He is currently 280lbs and a size 44 pant at only 27 years old. He's under the impression that a serious transformation requires a ton of money invested in the gym and your post proves (like I have been telling him) that a few simple lifestyle changes and some dedication…
  • Went shopping. Tried on 4 dresses in "my size" (large). All 4 "fit" and looked great. 2 out of 4 were too big!
  • Blood pressure is a big motivating factor for me too. I had a baby back in March and throughout my whole pregnancy my blood pressure was insane. I had two previous pregnancies and no issues with either of them. It was very scary watching my blood pressure go crazy and my doctor told me that even tho the blood pressure is…
  • I don't ignore it. It makes it worse for me... I usually go for something like a fat free chocolate pudding, chocolate frozen yogurt, 1 cookie, a caramel & chocolate chip rice cake... something to kick the craving without going crazy. If I ignore it I`ll go crazy on something and the seriously regret it.
  • Anyone who wants to add me feel free. 28 year old stay at home mom of 3!
