  • Depression, PTSD, insomnia, and anxiety. Im right there with you guys. I now realize that I was depressed in high school and my parents never recognized it(possibly from being blinded by there own depression) and never asked for help. I then joined the Marines when I graduated. I was deployed to Iraq twice and lost several…
  • I feel your pain. Im a 911 operator/dispatcher. The job is stressful enough. But with all the city cut backs and all the other politics, its started to get worse. Last year we got a new manager over our department, and she loves to micromanage and has no prior 911 experiance, which has only added to our stress among other…
  • That's great. Every time I take my 3yo son to our apartment pool, my gut is always in the back of my head. Then it makes me sad when I think about the great shape I used to be in when I was in the Marines and felt good to take my shirt off.
  • So I think Im doing good and going through the list, and it stopped my and told me I could only do 5 people in 10 min. Then I lost track of where I was. I didnt even make it through the first page. Well, if I didnt add you yet, please add me.

Ive also read several things that say after a stressful event (or several) and the adrenaline pump dies down you have more colesterol pumping in your blood. Which builds up over time.

  • I signed up a few days ago. Finally getting around to posting on here. I already lost 9lbs in the last month working out and jogging. From 220lbs to 211lbs. Figured I would try something new. My girlfriend recomended it.
  • My suggestion is to be patient. Just make sure you are excercising, drinking water, and watch what you eat(no crazy diets, just be more mindful). Ive lost 10lbs in the last month. I replaced Dr Pepper with water but I allow myself to have 1 or 2 a day instead of the 6-8 I would have normally had. I also started eating a…
